Yesterday Hit Me Like A Pan-Galactic Gargle-Blaster

College term has begun! And it hit me yesterday like a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster...

I spent the whole day marking exams and setting up online teaching courses... and recovering with a lengthy late-afternoon nap!

So, for the first time in over 30 days, I did not complete all of my "five daily habits". Okay, I managed to get two done. I did my morning mini-workout, and I sent emails to 3 safelists... but I failed to publish a blog post, practise chess or do any language study.

Today, I began teaching three classes and after they were over I spent another few hours assigning grades to all the students who took the end of term exams.

Grading students is always tough, but I had a blast in the three classes I taught today and I'm happy to be back in the classroom, even though it was a bit of a shocker to start getting up at half past five in the morning again!

It will take a while for me to get into the new schedule and to fit a new "daily habits" routine around it.

I'm so glad I completed the #ctpcontent challenge just before my teaching duties recommenced.

I will try to be more active on CTPTalk and Hive than I was during the spring term... Hopefully the Habitbull app can help me with that.

Anyway, that's all for tonight! I'm about to hop into bed well before midnight as I'll be up with the lark again tomorrow morning!
