Renovando mi visión: Cuidado personal en Boa Vista. [Esp/Eng]

Saludos, hivers, que van felices por los senderos de la buenaventura. Actualmente, resido en la ciudad de Boa Vista, Brasil. Salí a la calle Moacir da Silva Mota con la intención de mejorar mi conexión a internet, un servicio esencial en la vida moderna y un derecho fundamental. La mañana estaba cubierta por densas nubes cóncavas, semejantes a hamacas dispuestas en serie, un símbolo de la belleza natural de esta región de la Amazonía sudamericana. Caminé con energía tranquila, sintiendo mi frecuencia personal en sintonía con el universo, en un estado de profunda estabilidad emocional.

Greetings, hivers, who are happily walking the paths of good fortune. I currently reside in the city of Boa Vista, Brazil. I went out to Moacir da Silva Mota Street with the intention of improving my internet connection, an essential service in modern life and a fundamental right. The morning was covered by dense concave clouds, resembling hammocks arranged in series, a symbol of the natural beauty of this region of the South American Amazon. I walked with calm energy, feeling my personal frequency in tune with the universe, in a state of deep emotional stability.

Me dirigí hacia la dinámica avenida General Ateíde Teive y, al girar a la izquierda, vi una tienda que ofrecía mantenimiento de lentes: "Limpe seus óculos". Esto me recordó que, tras mejorar mi conexión a internet en la tienda de telefonía, regresaría para dar mantenimiento a mis propios lentes. Después de visitar dos tiendas y activar mi conexión a internet, me sentí fortalecido y con el ánimo renovado.

I headed towards the dynamic avenue General Ateíde Teive and, turning left, I saw a shop offering lens maintenance: ‘Limpe seus óculos’. This reminded me that, after upgrading my internet connection at the phone shop, I would return to service my own glasses. After visiting two shops and activating my internet connection, I felt invigorated and in renewed spirits.

Regresé, impulsado por la curiosidad, para atender mis lentes. Me sorprendió gratamente la amabilidad con la que me recibieron en la óptica. Observé el muestrario y me maravillaron las monturas. Al acercarme a la recepción, me solicitaron mis lentes. Mientras esperaba, me ofrecieron un trozo de pastel, pila y jugo de naranja. Colocaron mis lentes en un dispositivo tecnológico durante unos minutos y, luego, la especialista comenzó el mantenimiento. Desarmó los lentes tornillo por tornillo con herramientas sencillas, limpiando cada pieza meticulosamente. Los cristales fueron retirados y sentí que mis compañeros de aventuras merecían este cuidado. Me di cuenta de que mis lentes tenían dos años de uso y me sorprendí de no haberles dado un mantenimiento periódico. ¡Qué ironías tiene la vida! Había llevado en mi rostro un objeto sucio.

I returned, driven by curiosity, to have my glasses taken care of. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness with which I was greeted at the optician's. I looked at the sample collection and marvelled at the frames. I looked through the sample book and marvelled at the frames. As I approached the reception desk, I was asked for my glasses. While I waited, I was offered a piece of cake, pila and orange juice. My lenses were placed in a technological device for a few minutes, and then the specialist began maintenance. She took the lenses apart screw by screw with simple tools, cleaning each piece meticulously. The lenses were removed and I felt that my fellow adventurers deserved this care. I realised that my lenses were two years old and I was surprised that I had not given them regular maintenance. What ironies of life! I had worn a dirty object on my face.

La montura comenzó a brillar con cada pasada del paño suave. La especialista volvió a armar la montura, colocando tornillos nuevos y el plástico para la nariz. El trabajo era una verdadera obra de ingeniería. Observé con atención a las dos damas que realizaban el servicio con eficiencia. Mis lentes quedaron como nuevos, con un brillo especial. Agradecí el servicio y me despedí con un beso en las manos de las damas. Me recomendaron difundir el servicio de ÓTICAS /CAROL.

The frame began to shine with each pass of the soft cloth. The specialist reassembled the frame, putting in new screws and the plastic for the nose piece. The job was a true work of engineering. I watched carefully as the two ladies performed the service with efficiency. My glasses were as good as new, with a special shine. I thanked them for the service and kissed the ladies' hands goodbye. They recommended me to spread the word about the service of ÓTICAS /CAROL.
