I went back to teaching!
Since I returned to music, one of the things that I had not told you that I also did again was to teach.
My story as a teacher is very similar to that of many young people who were and still are part of El Sistema in Venezuela. We started teaching at a very young age, and my case was no exception. I started teaching everything basic and basic at the age of 15. The little knowledge I had on my instrument, at that time I was just another boy following an education pattern under the motto "Play and Fight" which by itself already leaves a very clear action.
After working in a nucleus far from my city, I was one of the teachers in the main nucleus where I grew up. Many years passed and then for economic reasons that we already know happened in Venezuela, I resigned.
I returned to the orchestra as a performer but always during my return I did not want to teach but apparently in the meantime refusing for something just that happens, and right here I show you that for a couple of months it is what I also do and I like to do.
She is a talented student and is the first one I started educating after being away from cello education and academic music.
I have had good experience with María Camila and I thought that I had lost my touch as a teacher but thank God it was not like that, I have seen her progress, her dedication, and her emotion as she spent months with me as a teacher; herself when realizing how much progress she has made as a cellist, which makes me much more proud and makes me know that I'm doing things right.
Being a teacher since I was little was something that, after thinking about it, I had to say was good, it gave me a lot of experience, it helped me mature, learn much more and my level as a cellist also increased, and among many other things, as everything also has its sacrifices but of which I no longer complain so much.
María Camila had the opportunity to see a great class with a teacher, Francy Vázquez who was visiting my city and was able to show the work we had done and everything went very well, here María Camila played Popper's lesson 6 and was able to do it a lot better after all the recommendations that Master gave her and gave me too.

Wow you must be so proud of her improvement, it is the joy of every teacher.
I'm glad you didn't lose your touch in teaching hehe, you're actually much better from the improvements shown in Maria
I like you post and I've shared it on threads do check it out (threads is another form of post promotion on Hive)
Yes, I am very proud of her and happy for her, for her growth and how she has developed her own form of study.
Every time I learn more when teaching her, that is why I always enjoy teaching her.
It is quite exciting to teach but sometimes it can be frustrating frustrating for me when my student is hard to teach. I recently started a piano lesson for someone and although he is an average student but it is jot easy some times.
It is quite exciting, and if I understand you why there are students who merit more dedication or other pedagogy, with Maria Camila I have had good experiences, I already know their advantages and their cons and I am always trying to innovate within learning for her.
Wao thats great man
