Ingredients
- 1/2 chicken breast
- 1 and 1/2 cups of rice
- 4 sweet peppers
- 1 large carrot
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tablespoon corn oil
- 2 cups of water
- Salt to taste
- Curry and cumin to taste
- Dried oregano
Preparation
Step 1:
Cut the chicken into cubes.
Cut the peppers and onion.
Peel the carrot and grate it.
Step 2
I put the rice in a pan with the oil and take it to the fire, I must move constantly, to prevent it from burning, what I want is to fry the rice.
Step 3
When the rice has taken a whiter color, I incorporate the peppers.
Step 4
Then I add the onion. I integrate everything very well.
Step 5 Add the water.
I add the water, lower the heat and wait for it to boil, at this point I add the grated carrot.
Step 6
With respect to the chicken, I put a little salt, curry, marinade and oregano, I leave it for about 30 minutes.
Step 7
Then I take it to a small skillet over high heat until well cooked.
Step 8
When the rice is ready I add the chicken, mix well and so I get my delicious rice with chicken and carrots.
An important aspect is that I always like to reserve a half hour before serving, so the flavors will have integrated and it will be even more delicious.

Que bueno saludarles y estar por acá para compartir una deliciosa receta, bastante sencilla, también emplearas pocos ingredientes, se trata de una arroz con pollo y zanahoria, ideal para un almuerzo rápido y cargado de sabor. Es chevere siempre tener opciones e ideas que nos ayuden en esos momentos en los que estamos full trabajo y llegamos a casa cocinar algo que sea super rápido,por otra parte tiene que es super sano, así que iniciemos:
Ingredientes
- 1/2 pechuga de pollo
- 1 taza y 1/2 de arroz
- 4 ajíes dulces
- 1 zanahoria grande
- 1 cebolla mediana
- 1 cda de aceite de maíz
- 2 tazas de agua
- Sal al gusto
- Curry y comino al gusto
- Orégano seco
Preparación
Paso 1
Cortar el pollo en cubos.
Cortar los ajíes y la cebolla.
Pelar la zanahoria y rallarla.
Paso 2
Coloco el arroz en una sarten con el aceite y lo llevo al fuego, debo mover constantemente, para evitar que se queme, lo que busco es freír el arroz.
Paso 3
Cuando el arroz haya tomado una coloración mas blanco, incorporo los ajíes.
Paso 4
Posteriormente agrego la cebolla. Integro todo muy bien.
Paso 5
Añado el agua , bajo el fuego y espero que hierva, en este punto incorporo la zanahoria rallada.
Paso 6
Con respecto al pollo, le coloco un poco de sal, curry, adobo y orégano, lo dejo unos 30 minutos aproximadamente
Paso 7
Luego lo llevo a una pequeña sarten a fuego alto hasta que este bien cocido.
Paso 8
Cuando ya el arroz esta en su punto incorporo el pollo, mezclo bien y así obtengo mi delicioso arroz con pollo y zanahoria.
Un aspecto importante es que siempre me gusta reservar una media hora antes de servir, pues así los sabores se habrán integrado y será aun mas delicioso.
