Polishing of my truck's lenses. / Pulitura de las micas de mi camioneta.

Hello friends of @hivemotors it's an honor for me to share with you my first post polishing my Ford 150 truck's lenses.

For some time I had been noticing that they were a little yellow, yesterday I got down to work to clean and polish them.

In the cleaning of the screens I used materials that we practically have in our homes.

The following materials were:

• Detergent.
• Toothpaste.
• Sandpaper number 1500.
• Sandpaper number 2000.
• Electromotive cold silicone.
• Car polishing.
• Spatula.
• Knife.

In a container we will place the detergent with water, where we will wash the screens, we take off the screens of the support where the lights go we remove with the spatula the excess of old silicone and we take off the screens we place them in the container with the water of detergent and there we will remove the excess of dust or some dirt that has
We will sand it with the 1500 sandpaper since it is a medium coarse sandpaper and this will remove the yellow or brown that has our bulbs.

When we have it clean and well dry we are going to sand with the sandpaper 2000 to finish the finish and we are going to place the toothpaste on the screens and with a sponge or any towel or cloth we are going to spread it on the whole screen and we are going to rub it so that the toothpaste acts as it should be and we let it rest for 20 minutes.

We will remove very well and wash this part where the lights go, we remove very well the excess silicone as this part should be very clean, later we will put silicone again.

Now that the toothpaste time has passed on the screens, we are going to wash it and dry it very well and Lugo we are going to polish the car, we rub it with any clean cloth that is dry and we will have our screens ready, here I will leave you a before and After how my screens were very clean

Hola amigos de @hivemotors es para mí un honor compartir con ustedes mi primera publicación puliendo las micas de mi camioneta Ford 150.

Hace algún tiempo que venía notando que estaban un poco amarillas, el día de ayer me puse manos a las obras para limpiarlas y pulirlas.

En la limpieza de las pantallas utilice materiales que prácticamente tenemos en nuestros hogares.

Los siguientes Materiales fueron:

• Detergente.
• Crema dental.
• Lija número 1500.
• Lija número 2000.
• Silicón frío electromotriz.
• Pulitura de carro.
• Espátula.
• Cuchillo.

En un contenedor colocaremos el detergente con agua, dónde lavaremos las pantallas,despegamos las pantallas del soporte donde van las luces le retiramos con la espatula el exceso de silicón viejo y despegamos las pantallas las colocamos en el recipiente con el agua de detergente y ahí le quitaremos el exceso de polvo o algún sucio que tenga
La lijaremos con la lija 1500 ya que es una lija media gruesa y este irá retirando lo amarillo o marrón que tenga nuestros focos.

Cuando la tengamos limpias y bien secas vamos a lijar con la lija 2000 para terminar los acabado y vamos a colocar la crema dental sobre las pantallas y con una esponja o cualquier toalla o paño la vamos a esparsir en toda la pantalla y vamos a frotarla para que la crema dental actúe como debe ser y la dejamos reposar 20 minutos.

Vamos a retirar muy bien y lavar esta parte donde van las luces, le retiramos muy bien el exceso de silicón ya que esta parte debe quedar muy limpio, más adelante se le volverá a colocar silicón.

Ya pasado el tiempo de la crema dental en las pantallas la vamos a lavar y secar muy bien y Lugo le vamos a hechar pulitura de carro lo frotamos con cualquier pañito limpio que este seco y ya tendremos lista nuestras pantalla, aquí les dejaré un antes y un después de como quedaron mis pantallas muy limpias
Es una técnica económica y que siempre tenemos en nuestros hogares.
