MY FIRST LOVE EXPERIENCED

This topic is quite interesting and I love it because it took me back to my past life during my childish age. It was really bad then, thou I was a kid then that doesn't know what love is all about.

Here's the story, I'm raised and brought up in a family that doesn't support childish engagement in love. And in my secondary school level, I got interested in a girl called Mary, I was in JSS 3 class and Mary was my classmate as well. And then I was afraid to walk to her and express my feelings so I decided to keep it to myself till when we moved to SS1 class, I also noticed that she was also in love with me from the way she was acting with me.

As being childish then, we were waiting for one person to say it out and it was very bad that no one could express his/her feelings to each other. So when we moved to SS2, then we were a little bit mature and I was 18 years old and she was 16-17 years too. We never say a word to each other till I left the school for another school for my WAEC exams and she was also transferred to another school as well.

Thou, I promised myself that I won't engage myself in any love relationship until I finished secondary school level, and I kept to my promise. So when I finished my WAEC exams in 2016. I came back home and on my way to see my Aunty, I met her and I was short of words and I felt something strong in my heart which can't explain.

So I decided to share it with my friends and after sharing it with my friend, he promised to help me talk to her for my sake. And guess what! I was very afraid and shivering asking myself "how will I face her if my friend told her what I said".

When my friend told her that I'm in love with her, the reason why I sent him is that I'm afraid to say it to her face. And she had nothing to say because, she was also in love and was waiting for that same day to come. So she sent my friend to tell me that, "I should come in person and say it to her face before she will say anything" and when I received the message, I was very afraid and I started avoiding her because of that. So a day came that my decision to set me up by inviting her to his house and after he invited her to his house, he called me to come to his house that there's something he wants to show me. Smile!. I foolishly went there, without knowing they were something hidden behind that call.

When I got to his place, he asked me to come in. And I went in and behold I saw her sitting, I stood at the door for like for 2 minutes and something came to my mind that I should run back home but my friend was in my back waiting to see what will happen. So when I saw him standing behind my back, I just decided to coordinate myself and walk-in and met her and it was as if my heart is about to fall because of the fear that was in me.

I greeted her good evening ma and she replied evening uncle, that was where I ended so when she noticed I was afraid of her, she shifts close to me and said "did I send my friend to him?" and I said yes, so she said I should say exactly what I sent my friend to her. Wow, that was a difficult assignment for me. I kept silent for like 10 minutes and she call me "Meshach" in a very low tone, then I've held and comforted myself and I decided to pour it out to her, she smiled at me and said, "she was also waiting for me to say it out that she's in love with me too". That I shouldn't worry, she will call me later when she has made up her mind.

To cut the story short, she finally said Yes! to me and that's how we started dating. But thou, we're not together again.
