We learned not to let bad emotions remain in our hearts for too long. I've learned not to let anger kill me; instead, I need to learn more about anger management so that it doesn't affect my mental health.
I've also learned a lot about forgiveness; it's incredibly vital and crucial for a Christian to forgive and, more importantly, to forget whatever men have done to offend or harm him. Because if we do not forgive, our heavenly father will also not forgive us, but if we forgive those who have wronged us, God will be faithful and just to forgive all of our sins.
Jeremiah 23:21 the bible also made us understand that he has not sent these prophets that are saying is the lord that sent than. This simply means that God did not call them nor did he choose them. They simply called themselves by their self in other to extort from men. The bible still says that he has not spoken to them yet, so we should not believe in every spirit that says its the lord that send him expect we have the inner conviction.
This means we must test all spirits to see if they are from God.
We are told in 1 Kings 22: 23 that God put a deceptive spirit in the mouth of these so-called prophets who are not called by God. According to the bible few are chosen while many are called but God has also spoken evil against them that are not called by him.
Forgiveness allows us to breathe freely and brings us peace of mind.
The bible still informs us in 2 Thessalonians 2: 10 that many will perish because they do not receive the love of the truth in order to be saved. The truth is the only thing that will save us from destruction and calamity. The truth have a way of bring peace of mind in to our life, once you know the truth, you be set free.
In Isaiah 5:20, the bible says, "Woe to those who know the truth but live in sin, to those who call evil good and good evil, to those who put darkness for light and light for darkness, to those who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter, to those who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter," the bible says, "Shame be unto them." For they are children of darkness. They know not the word and the word is not in them, how can they bear fruit? For the fruit of the holy spirit is meekness. We should learn to do good to every man by forgiving them and welcoming them with love, by so doing, we are healing the broken hearts through Christ who taught us to do this things unto our fellow men.
