God is the source of man's desire. Good deeds originated with God rather than with man. Naturally, a person seeks worldly things like having a spouse, having children, and carrying out our parental responsibilities, such as ensuring that our children receive a good education, find excellent jobs, and marry. On this world, our greatest obligation to seek and serve God. Today, we are taught to direct our emotions toward things above, for things above are eternal, whilst worldly goods are fleeting. We can't serve both God and the world at the same time, therefore we have to choose a decision. We have the ability to choose, therefore choose life if you want to live. Always remember that our treasure should be in our hearts. Allowing God to work in our lives is the best thing we can do for ourselves. We were told a parable about a farmer who went out to spread good seeds on his property, and that when he cast these good seeds, some of them fell on rocky ground, some fell by the wayside, some fell among thorns, and others fell on good and productive ground.
We can deduce from this parable that our hearts are where those seeds fell; some individuals have the rocky ground heart, others have the wayside heart, others have the thorny heart, and still others have the good heart where the word will grow and bear fruit when it is planted.
Important factors:
The devil came and stole the word that was sown in them because the roadside heart could not hold on to the word of God for long. Brethren should always listen to the word and most important will should not allow the devil to steal it away from us.
A rocky heart is one that has heard the word but has given in to temptations, letting go of the words and failing to hold on to the word since it landed on stony ground and could not take root.A heart shaped like the seeds that dropped amid the thorns is the type of heart that hears the word with zeal, but when the going gets tough, they can't hang on to it and the message is choked by the thorns.
Finally, those who fell on excellent and fertile soil or ground have a heart that hears, receives, and keeps the word and does not allow the devil to steal it. The seed grew up and bore fruit in their lives as a result of their receiving and maintaining the seed.
Formal believe.
I got more insight about the word of God concerning how to make good use of it, whereby not allowing the enemy to make hold of it. The sower's tale shows or will show us where we fit in the four types of hearts. The seed is the coming word of God, and the devil is the one who takes it away from our hearts.
What impact does the study have on us:
It had such an impact on me that I'm determined not to let the adversaries steal the seed of God's word that was sowed in me and if will make good use of the word, it will have a tremendous impact in our lives.
Thank you.
We are inviting you to join the MCGI Cares (Hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it. We can check this link https://peakd.com/c/hive-182074/trending

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.
MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.
II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
