¡Así viví la Caracas Blockchain Week 2023! (ENG/SPA)

A few days ago I was at the Caracas Blockchain Week with my boyfriend (@pentaghast). A mega expo to talk about web 3 and technology, as well as to meet amazing projects.

This was my first time at this event since last year I couldn't attend. This year it was held at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB). And since I had been to this university before, it was very easy for us to go despite how far it is from the central areas of Caracas.

The first thing we did when we arrived was to check in, so that they could give us our entrance pass.
With the pass we were given a tote bag with the huge hive logo in the center and a key strap with the hive and CBW logo on it, which I loved. Well, it's not specifically for keys but it works like that too 😂

We were surprised to see how many people were there. A lot of people. And it was great. From the youngest to the most adult.

There was a space with a banner of Caracas Blockchain Week and its sponsors to take pictures and obviously we could not miss the opportunity.

There was also a space with huge screens to play video games for free, which, by the way, was packed 😂 There were two Playstation 5s and a Nintendo Switch. I was hoping to play myself too but there were a lot of people there.

Of course my main focus and favorite booth was the Hive booth. The coolest and most cheerful of all. I got a lot of stickers. And there was enough space and implements to take pictures of us, But best of all, it was the junction point to meet all those hivers I've interacted with a lot through a screen and seeing them in person was phenomenal. All with a radiant human warmth. I loved meeting them all.

This event had two stages to give talks and educational and informative conferences. In them we had great hivers representing our platform such as @tsunsica in a talk on the adoption of web3, @danielvehe with his educational project on Hive, @filoriologo with his talk "Hive: The Experience of the impossible", winning talk by popular election through "X", among others.

We also had the visit of @starkerz, co-founder of 3speak, which I found incredible. How great to see firsthand the development of the Hive community in Venezuela and the excellent teamwork that has been done.

Near the end of the day, the Hive team started handing out "Hive Coffee". Yes coffee with Hive's name 😁 and the best thing is that they gave several consumption options according to your preferences. You could have it black or with milk, with refined sugar or with splenda. And yes as for the milk, you could have it skim, whole or almond. Pretty inclusive, isn't it? 😁

I loved that.

The truth is that I have a great and beautiful experience of this second edition of the CBW.

It was great to see firsthand all the work, effort and dedication that the Hive organizing team has put into this event to make the platform stand out.

Hace días estuve en la Caracas Blockchain Week junto a mi novio (@pentaghast). Una mega expo para hablar sobre web 3 y tecnología, así como para conocer proyectos increíbles.

Esta fue mi primera vez en este evento ya que el año pasado no pude asistir. Este año se realizó en la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB). Y como yo había ido anteriormente a esta universidad, se nos hizo muy fácil llegar a pesar de lo lejos que queda de las zonas céntricas de Caracas.

Lo primero que hicimos al llegar fue registrarnos, de manera de que nos entregaran nuestro pase de entrada.
Con el pase nos entregaron una tote bag con el logo enorme de hive en el centro y una cinta para llaves con el logo de hive y la CBW, lo cual me encantó. Bueno, no es específicamente para llaves pero también funciona así 😂

Nos sorprendió ver la cantidad de personas que había. Muchísima gente. Y fue genial. Desde el más joven hasta el más adulto.

Había un espacio con un pendon de la Caracas Blockchain Week y sus patrocinadores para tomarse fotos y obviamente no podíamos perder la oportunidad.

También había un espacio con pantallas enormes para jugar videojuegos de forma gratuita, que, por cierto, estaba repleto 😂 Habían dos Playstation 5 y un Nintendo Switch. Tenía la esperanza de jugar yo también pero había mucha gente allí.

Por supuesto mi principal centro de atención y mi stand favorito fue el de Hive. El más genial y alegre de todos. Obtuve muchos stickers. Y había suficiente espacio e implementos para tomarnos fotos, Pero lo mejor de todo es que fue el punto de unión para conocer a todos esos hivers con los que he interactuado mucho a través de una pantalla y verlos en persona fue fenomenal. Todos con una calidez humana radiante. Amé conocerlos a todos.

Este evento contó con dos escenarios para dar charlas y conferencias educativas e informativas. En ellos tuvimos a grandes hivers en representación de nuestra plataforma como lo fueron @tsunsica en un conversatorio sobre la adopción de la web3, @danielvehe con su proyecto educativo sobre Hive, @filoriologo con su charla "Hive: La Experiencia de lo imposible", charla ganadora por elección popular a través de "X", entre otros.

Asimismo contamos con la visita de @starkerz, Co-fundador de 3speak, lo cual me pareció increíble. Que genial que viera de primera mano el desenvolvimiento de la comunidad de Hive en Venezuela y el excelente trabajo en equipo que se ha estado haciendo.

Casi al final del día, el equipo de Hive empezó a repartir "Hive Coffee". Sí café con nombre de Hive 😁 y lo mejor es que daban varias opciones de consumo según tus preferencias. Podías tomarlo negro o con leche, con azúcar refinada o con splenda. Y si en cuanto a la leche, podías tomarla descremada, entera o de almendras. Bastante inclusivo,¿no? 😁

Eso me encantó.

La verdad me llevo una grata y bonita experiencia de esta segunda edición de la CBW.

Fue grandioso ver de primera mano todo el trabajo, esfuerzo y dedicación que le ha puesto el equipo organizador de Hive a este evento para dejar en alto a la plataforma.
