Pretend Play Camping at Home

It is a public holiday for Malaysia tomorrow as some will be celebrating Thaipusam. My eldest requested for us to open the tent in the middle of our house hall.

SO WE WERE GOING CAMPING!!!

Pretend play camping that is!

In the afternoon after the eldest came home from school, he invited me into the tent to nap while his brother was napping in the room. He even prepared a portable fan for me when I said I did not like the stuffy feeling inside.

Upon entering the tent, wow it was messy with many toys but he managed to clear a space for me to lie down on pillows and he asked me to take a nap. To be honest, I almost did because it was quite cozy.

However half way through while he was playing games and I almost dozed off, he said he need to go to the toilet to do some big business and said he can handle all of it by himself, asking me to just relax inside. And he did!

After his brother woke up from his nap, he asked both of us to join him to pretend play camping. So he used some blocks to set up a "campfire". He cooked us some food and pizza and roasted some marshmallows.

The little brother also participated and was non- stop feeding me food. After eating, we lied down a while in the tent and now we have to eat our real dinner at the dining table.

THAT WAS RELAXING AND FUN!!! LOVE THEIR IMAGINATION!
