Impromptu Time at the Park at 140PM!
It was 130pm after I finished lunch with a friend and I still wanted to catch up with her so we were thinking to go for a cafe that I recently saw in a park.
Found A Gem!
This place is called the Titiwangsa Lakeside Park. We have not been here for years. Both of us when we were in our twenties, we used to go to parks randomly for walks and spend time to talk. I totally didn't expect that we could still do it after a decade or so and right before she is about to fly off to Singapore for good. This does bring back memories of our younger days as we took photos under the hot sun hahaha.
This park is not a new park but it has been renovated and maintained nicely. The paths were really clean and best of all, there were no other humans around! WE HAD IT ALL TO OURSELVES!
Though initially, we wanted to visit the cafe, we saw some patrons in it and we also just had lunch so we decided to just walk a bit and found a good shady place with benches.
Look at how nice the views are.
To our surprise, the lake water is so clear!
There was a books corner with some backdated magazines and books, as backdated as to 2009 🤣
It was also breezy surprisingly as you can see from the wind blowing my hair.
We sat down and talked, not conscious about time. We even saw some other friends from nature. There was an eagle flew above us, a monitor lizard that caused a splasj in the pond near us and a loyal companion who stayed there on a leaf throughout the whole time we were there.
Some more pictures of the different views from where we sat.
There was helicopter flying across our heads too.
We spent about 1.5 hours there, sitting so comfortably. You see I even removed my shoes and started to make myself at home hahaha.
Walking past the cafe that we supposed to go for on our way out.
Twas a good time to catch up so comfortably. I was even a bit reluctant to go home. Hahaha
