Day 8 of Chinese New Year Spent in Church
I have to say Chinese New Year passes super fast! It is already day 11 today but I want to document us spending our day 8 in church.
This year's Chinese New Year crosses over 3 Sundays with the first day being on a Sunday itself! So I get to see a lot of my church friends. Some of us purposely bought Cheongsams this year, either cheongsam dress or tops. Cheongsams are my absolute favorite ans it is very hard for to resist!!!!
I think I have gotten myself nearly 8 tops and dresses in total. I like each and every one of them but my favorite has got to be this white/mint green piece I am wearing because it was my first Cheongsam dress that I bought for this year and it only costs me RM39!!!! What a steal right! I love the fact that it has 2 deep pockets which is ultra convenient for me. If you know me, you will know my deep love for deep pockets hahahah.
So the mothers who usually spend our time at the first floor of church managed to take a group photo together, how rare! However as we were snapping our final photo, one of the children had started crying hence why we must seize the opportunity while it presented itself hhahaha. Mothers usually take the least photos unless we can take quick selfie. So this was one precious photo but will take more with the other mothers who maybe coming this upcoming Sunday as it is going to be the last day of Chinese New Year!
Then I got my sons to take photos since I managed to get them into matching outfits but the youngest decided to show his "Shadow less feet" aka 无影脚 though my eldest tried to stop him but to no avail hence he joined his brother showing their feet together.
Took some photos with some closer friends too whom we have invited to wear cheongsam together too hahah. Some were absent because they needed to take care of children who aren't too well at home.
After church, we headed to McDonald's for lunch and my youngest decided to wear his sunglasses this time. He managed to take photos with his favorite uncle as well.
Oh well, Chinese New Year has 15 days of celebration and it is already coming to an end. Every year I look forward to Chinese New Year yet dread its ending haha. It happened to me since I was a little girl till now in my thirties. Do you like cheongsams as much as me too??
