The Food Stop #7 Areprissa | @hanselmusic

Hello! After a long day of music, I wanted to eat something good and fast. This place is located in the first floor of the studio where I practice with my band.

The owner is a friend of mine and he’s also a member of the group. The restaurant has been there since I remember, it’s a fast food place but made of Arepas.

If you don’t know what arepa means, it’s a food made of grain maize very popular in Colombia and Venezuela as well. The Colombian arepa could be prepared when different ingredients such as shredded meat, shredded chicken, corn grains, chorizo (a kind of sausage) etc.

And that’s what I exactly ordered. An arepa made of shredded chicken and meat. It’s bigger than it looks in the picture and very delicious. It also has some quail eggs and chips.

There are many options, if you don’t want to eat a lot there are just arepa with cheese, but if you eat a lot like me, you can eat even an Arepa with a lot of meat and chicken.

If you wanna have fast food and listen to great music, this is your place! The music is from the 80s to nowadays, mostly rock. Sometimes there are live music on weekends. I played there a lot of times and in the future will be playing again.

It’s not a fancy place but nice to eat and spend a Friday night eating good and listening to great music. That’s what I usually do haha.
