Another Monday
Good Morning! It is another Monday! Waking up every Monday morning can be a real pain in the butt (excuse my language), but all of us know how it is. Especially if you are not a morning person like me. Because you will probably go crazy every time you gotta drag your sorry self out of the warm bed, while your cat is still allowed to be there.
Everything starts with denial when you hear that annoying alarm go off (even if you chose the best ringtone on your phone, yet it is annoying) and you are like, "Nooo, this can't be happening! It is just a nightmare, a bad dream" and you hit the snooze button and try to catch a few more zzzzz while your cat is still sleeping, stretching and purring beside you. You know deep down that eventually, you have no choice and gotta wake up and face the cold winter day. You wish that you could just hibernate but...that option isn't available yet.
Then comes the real anger and frustration when the alarm goes off again. That annoying sound again and even your cat wakes up now, meoooooow, food time! You might even cuss a little bit as you drag your lazy ass out of bed, while your cat stretches itself getting ready for its first meal, meoooooow! This is the worst stage where you are most likely to reject anyone who tries to talk to you. Because all you need is your first cigarette and morning coffee. Oh yes! That hot cup of black bitter coffee.
Once you have calmed down a bit and gave food to your lovely kitty, you look at yourself in the mirror to see if you can recognize yourself. Then try to make yourself look decent, and you start making all kinds of deals with yourself. "If I can just get through this day, I will watch my favorite Netflix series and have a very long sleep tonight." You are basically trying to push yourself into being productive, despite the laziness.
As soon as you believe you can't feel worse, depression starts as the cold air hits your face. You are headed to work and still sleepy wishing to be in your warm bed. Negative emotions set in, and you start to feel sad, disappointed and hopeless, wondering if this struggle will ever come to an end. And the question is "When is it finally weekend again?"
