Hope

The more I wait, the more I lose hope,
Your return seems a miracle beyond scope.
Not even God himself can make it true,
I wish I could go back in time and redo.

If only I had another chance,
To meet you under different circumstance.
I blame myself, though I did nothing wrong,
My heart aches and yearns for you all day long.

I imagine a different outcome for us,
One where we don't lose each other in the fuss.
But now all I can do is sit and mope,
As I wait for you, and lose more of my hope.
