Missing The Magee's | a throwback vacation in Bohol, Philippines

Hello, hivers good morning! This time of year we look forward to the season of giving "Christmas", we miss our relatives and friends who are far away from us and come home this season but with this Pandemic situation where everything is tight and impossible to move. I just miss them badly, so let me take you on a throwback vacation with them.

Bohol is one of the finest destinations in the Visayas, is also one of my favorite places to visit with warm people, great food and fine white sand beaches, and of course the awesome "chocolate hills". Traveling with kids is one of the best moments in a mother's life.

We travel via Tubigon from Cebu, so we can check on the butterfly sanctuary, the tarsiers, the chocolate hills and we had lunch while cruising at the Loboc river, such a wonderful experience! The kids had fun banging the bell at chocolate hills taking a hundred steps while chasing your breath to reach the top to have a great view of the chocolate hills is just worth it, also with the intimate interactions with the monarch butterflies in the sanctuary. We also drop by at Bohol Bee Farm for ice cream, very refreshing and delicious with a variety of choices from the Philippines finest fruits from durian, avocado, buko, peanut kisses, and dragon fruit!

Our last stop is our hotel, our home for 3 days is Hennan Resort Alona Beach Resort in Panglao. The long white sands, the sun, and the salty ocean bring joy in my heart, with the people who matter in my life. The kids enjoy running and playing in the sand, also in the pool so precious time with the "Magee's", missing them so much, especially the kids' Andy, Janela, and Daniel. Hope everything will be back to normal soon, I can't wait to travel with them and the kids. Maybe we will visit soon Carmen's famous Cebu Safari, I'm pretty sure the Magees will have fun most especially the kids...
