Do you like flowers?

Well... Do you???

I've never really paid much attention to flowers... Not that I don't like them.
They're pretty and I can see why it would have some positive effects on people. But I simply never paid them any mind.
(Maybe it had something to do with gender roles and what society expects from boys??? Could be...)

Now that I think about it, I never really got the whole bouquet thing either. Something about the fact that the flowers slowly died in your house ruined it for me.
Think about it, from the moment they arrive, they're dying and every day that passes you see them slowly getting worse... Hahaha the more I think about it, why do people like bouquets at all?!

I'm sure you're wondering where this little rant is going and surely it wasn't to ruin bouquets for anybody. I come in peace ✌🏾😇.
The point I was trying to make before I got off course is that I never really took the time to notice flowers UNTILL the lockdowns came.
We're not going to get into all of the things we did to keep ourselves busy/sane, but let's just say I spent some time in my backyard.

And to challenge myself I went for macro shots! I've posted about insects and reptiles before (cause I was proud of my shots 😁) but I also took a lot of flower shots.
And yes, I do appreciate their beauty now 😀, especially when they're outside alive and well in nature...

I hope you like the shots. Most of them where taken on my Canon M50 with 50mm lens and some on my Nikon D5600.
