The polls are unique feature in threads, the micro blogging platform. The functionality was added few week after the release of the project blank. The many community mod and leaders are using the function to get the opinion of the communities and many other users also to get the opinions of the other users. At present the community member does not has any influence on voting weightage as present anyone has the hive account can cast the vote and participate in the polls. The Leo Power the users holding in staking condition does not has any effect on voting weightage on the vote casted by the user. The new feature will be added which will give the power in hands of the community members as the token staked in users wallet will influences the results of the poll. The function will be first available for the Leo token and then will be extended to other second layers tokens also. This will give more power to the community members if they want to take decisions related to their community or tribe. This is one step towards the community decentralization.

Furthermore, the addition of this feature will not only increase the participation of the community members but also increase the transparency in decision making as the token holders will have a say in the decisions made. It will also make the platform more democratic as the voting weight will not only depend on the number of tokens held but also on the participation and engagement of the community members.

The power to make decisions will be more evenly distributed and the community will have greater control over the direction of their tribe. It will not only empower the community members but also strengthen the bond between them which in turn will lead to a more vibrant and active community.

Currently, only a select few users have access to the News Threads feature on LeoFinance. However, in the coming days, the feature will become available to more users. The News Thread is a prime example of how AI is utilized in the LeoFinance ecosystem. To use the feature, users simply copy and paste an article link into the designated Discord channel, and the AI generates a summary in three threads. Currently, the feature only supports a limited number of websites, although the team intends to expand its reach. In the future, the ability to schedule when an article is posted will be added. The News Thread feature provides real-time, high-quality news and also benefits Hive by burning all tokens earned from the thread on the chain. It is a valuable news aggregator for users of LeoFinance.
