Mama Moo and Her Babies
I wanted to post a quick update for you all about mama moo and her twins!
Mama moo is doing great and I swear she is such a great mother to her babies always looking out for them and making sure they have what they need. I'm happy that she trusts me and allows me around her babies to handle them and help train them. I just started to halter train the calves and they are doing great. They gotten used to me and to the halter so I can guide them around. This is going to be HUGE when it comes time to start milking these babies in year or two.
I though the first picture was funny as it looks like mama moo is smiling for the picture lol
I'm still a little unsure on keeping both and might let my one neighbor buy one as their cow recently passed away and they have a 4 month old calf that is a loner now. They along with myself think they will do great together.

Yea, I think mama moo is smiling for the camera. 😃 These pictures are so cool. Your calves are adorable. Is it a lot of working caring for them? And why do they start milking in a year or two and not?
lol she is always cheesin It's been a lot of work caring for the two of them. For sure more work then just one. The babies I'm working out what to do with the two of them right now. I'll most likely be keeping one myself to care for and have two milk cows while the other more aggressive one that has a bit of angus in her will go to my neighbor.

Those little calves can be milked in a year or two? Seems animals mature really fast compared to humans. Hehe! Nice shots with Mama moo by the way, she looks adorable smiling for the camera 😁
