TTT & TTT, ThreeTuneTuesday and The Trying Two

It looks like I've just discovered something new for me and I'll dive into Hive's music corner.
My new discovery is the ThreeTuneTuesday, seen on @mypathtofire and created by @ablaze.

Three Songs every Tuesday.

The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. Looks like that TTT stays for ThreeTuneTuesday. What a fantastic coincidence, because that reminds me of the band The Trying Two. My first and greatest band I played together. That's why I want to start my first post for the TTT with some songs from the band TTT.

They taught me new ways of playing music, improved my understanding of music, rhythm and I had a lot of fun, as well as very challenging moments. Being in a band is like having a relationship. You have commitments, duties, shared goals, ups and downs.
We became good friends and still meet for jams and spending time together.
They wrote the lyrics, chords and created the song structure. Everything is homemade, you could say.

I remember my first gigs to a T.
Excitement and nervousity took over me. And usually I'm the cool one. My friends took so much care of me, calmed me down by saying that it's just like a rehearsal, that they are with me and I shall concentrate on them. So good and very helpful.

Their music is alternative, which doesn't describe much I guess. To me it feels deep, groovy and a touch of stoner rock.
I'm curious how you would describe it.

But I struggled so much to get the guitar right and playing it like he does.
