A funeral and intensive care unit! ⚰🛏😭😱😣: September 3rd 2023

Hello friend, 🙋🏻‍♀️

I hope your Mondays are better than mine! 😔

Last Monday was the funeral of my best friends father, who was the closest thing to a father I had too. 😭 He was extremely intelligent, caring and with a great sense of humour. 🥰 Fortunately he passed away at home at the the nice ripe age of 92! ☺ I should have been there, but #Brexit restrictions didn't allow me to be. 😣

As if that wasn't enough, this Monday (today) I discovered a close friend of mine after recently winning the fight against ovarian cancer after two lengthy bouts of chemotherapy, she came home on Friday and had a stroke! 😱 There were further complications and right now she's in a coma in the intensive care unit, where she can't receive visitors and we don't know if she would know if we went anyway. Her chances are very slim of making even a partial recovery without brain damage, she's only 63! 😭 I'm not a religious person, but if you are, please send Ana a prayer 🙏 it certainly couldn't hurt! 😊 I'm sending as many positive vibes as I can sum up!
