Volvemos al romanticismo / We return to romance

Hello dear and appreciated friends, as usual, I hope you are having the best today

Today I want to leave a bit of the two composers that I had been bringing you and bring you a bit of the Romanticism period, which is one of the periods that I most enjoy playing (perhaps because it is one of the easiest 😂),

Today we will hear a bit about the composer * Dvorak *, more specifically his American quartet, which, as I have already told you before, is one of his most famous string quartets,

In this work we will listen to very new harmonies that the composer is going to integrate into his works due to his experiences and experiences precisely in the American country.

Today's fragment is from the slow movement of the work, where we can say that Dvorak brings out his traditional way of composing,

This beginning is born from the harmonic mattress of the second violin, viola and the pizzicatos of the violoncello, to prepare the entrance of the first violin that will begin singing the theme,

We can say that this theme is between subtle, intense, but very very very intimate, standing out only sometimes but always returning to the same intimacy. Like a conversation with oneself,

The most difficult thing, for me, is to achieve these changes that I mentioned before, because everything is born from the different characteristics that a violinist is going to use. In my case I used amount and speed of bow, vibrato and non-vibrato, string changes, etc, in order to achieve something similar to what I had in mind.

So without more to add for today I hope you enjoy, Hugs to all!
