'Drastic' - New Original Music - Another Idea, Sort of Similar to Yesterday's - Electronic/Instrumental + Walkthrough

same sort of vibe as the idea I shared yesterday, so I started with a quick little beat, though the stuff added on top of it isn't as interesting, so I'm gonna wind up redoing most of this. Tracks 2, 3 and 4 are all the drums, using various kits; overall, I like this beat, but the hats are kind of annoying, so I need to find something better to replace them with. I was imaging a sort of chill piano on top of this, but the specific piano used (from the PianoTeq demo) is a bit too bassy and full, so I'm gonna either replace it entirely, or find a more interesting timbre with effects. The basic progression is two parts, the A part (audio in Track 5) and B part (audio in Track 6). The A section moves from an Fmaj7 to G to Amin, 2x, then Bbmaj7, Cmaj7, Emin7, back to Fmaj7, and finally E7. Pretty basic, though the Pianoteq demo has certain notes that can't be played, which meant I had to use some inversions where I didn't really want to... I dunno why I used that demo, I should've used any one of the other full piano instruments I have access to, haha. I added some little transitional sounds in Tracks 7 and 8, then a basic bass line, in Tracks 10 and 11. Overall, I like the direction, but there is a lot of stuff that needs to be reworked, or redone entirely, so I'll play around with this tonight and hopefully have something more complete to share tomorrow!
