'Dcell' - New Original Music - Trying Some Different Drums w/ Yesterday's Idea - Electronic/Instrumental

on anything new, but I did wind up playing around a bit with yesterday's idea, adding a new drum track amongst some other things. I removed the LFOTool from Track 6, so it doesn't have the pulsing sidechain rhythm anymore. Track 7, the bass synth, now has the kick drum providing some slight sidechain compression on it, though not to the same level as the LFOtool would have, just enough to make room for the kicks in the low-end. Finally we have Track 8, the new drum kit. I used the 'Fog Juice' kit here, which I don't think I've used before. All the sounds on it are a bit intense, so for most, I turned up the fade out on the sample, except for the hi-hats. On those, I automated both the fade-in and fade-out, to get a bit more movement to the hi-hat pattern and provide a lot more variation to the pattern so we don't have the same sound over and over. Overall, I like the changes, but I think this'll be the last edit... I'm kinda bored with this, hehe, and don't really see myself taking it any further or really 'mastering' it.
