'Chrum' - New Original Music - One of Many Random, Disjointed Late Night Ideas - Electronic/Instrumental

of an interesting or completed song, but rather one of the MANY random, slightly disjointed, sort of aimless ideas that happen all the time when I'm playing around in Ableton. I had started with the LABS Cello Moods pack, in Tracks 2 and 3, which was initially the general direction I was imagining: strings w/ some sort of chill beat under it. But, I got a little bored with that, and decided to try something entirely different, which has some potential, though as of now it's basically just a simple little loop. Track 4 uses the 'Bipolar Drum Kit', which is made up of some really weird, effected drum sounds, lots of bleeps and bloops. I added the Spectral Resonator, and used two LFOs to randomize the frequency and decay parameters; I'd done this in the previous post as well, though this was actually my first attempt with that, so even though this didn't become a 'song', some of the ideas were able to find their way into other projects. Track 5 is a pad sound, which basically just shifts between an Fsus2 and Bbsus2, with a pretty heavy LFOTool on it to provide the sidechain compression effect. Finally, we have Track 6, which was just a little bass part outlining chord tones. I do like the progression, and the drums, though I think maybe the drums are a bit too glitchy and weird for it, or maybe too fast... I'll save a new version of this, get rid of the cello intro, and play around and see where things go. I *might*be able to turn this into more of an actual song idea if inspiration hits.
