Hello friends, how is today going? I really hope all is going well.

I bet you haven't one day sat to analyze how long we spend on the phone. If only you know how much you spend on data even without knowing you will know that you are rich and low-key 😂. My roommate and I use Glo to share data, that means anyone who subscribes to the other can use Glo. So we made a joint contribution. I can tell you that the day we took time to analyze how much we spent on subscriptions in a month it was more $20.

So matter how broke you are you will look for a way to subscribe just to be on your phone. And when there's no subscription you still look for games, movies to watch just to make sure you are on your phone.
Addiction to phones has made me realize why it is hard for people who are into drugs to quit. You want to buy, you just can't accept that it is taken for you entirely and even if it is , you will be depressed for a while because you start adapting to the change. Someone joking told me that I'm always online and the moment I am not online for a long time probably a day they know something is wrong. Yeah that person may not be far from the truth though.

I am addicted to the phone . Leaving it for even a day can make me sick. Like real sickness. I remembered when my phone got stolen years back. It was as if it was the end for me because I started over thinking. Not about the phone only but about life generally. Phone keeps me away from thinking and worrying so much because either I am chatting, working on my remote job, blogging or scrolling through social media and watching funny content.

I really wonder how people stay without a smartphone for long, especially if they don't have daily work to keep them busy.
To be sincere this addiction towards the phone isn't nice. Sometimes I strain my eyes on the screen so much that my eyes start to tear. I currently use glasses and I can say it's because of close watching on the television and started using phones at an early age.

About this topic I had to think about it critically. What can make me stay away from my phone? Well it wasn't stated the particular time or hour I can stay away from my phone. I have a bad habit which I am willing and trying to stop, that is staying on my phone even when someone is talking to me. My close friend has warned me about that and said it's disrespectful to the person communicating and that I should give full attention. Well if I have someone around I try to keep my phone far and of my data so I don't have any distraction that will warrant me checking my phone

I would say sleep but then the maximum hours I can sleep is 8 hours and just maybe if I am down in health I can sleep more. Other reasons can make me busy on the phone. Maybe if I am having a very busy day that can keep me so busy that I can't access it by phone or have a low battery. But these can't be certain. The period I sleep is when I am away from my phone.

I have a question if you are really away from mobile during sleep or you just have it in your dreams too?

It is really disrespectful to others if we keep on using our phones while talking to them. So we should avoid it.

I have a friend, whenever she's charging her phone, that when she'll become clingy to me while I'm using mine. 😂 Try to reduce the usage of screen light. Just a friendly advice though. Speaking from experience.

Lol, I agree that operating your online when someone is talking to you is disrespectful, it will be nice to see you are ready to improve on that bad habit.

Keeping yourself busy with other can help out and yeah sleeping is very effective because you are gonna stay unconscious lol. But literally checking the phone after waking up is the thing we all do everyday non-stop. Nice comparison of drug addict and a phone addict. Actually the word “addiction” is not good for anyone like we can catch addiction for anything which in result we won’t get anything better but bring some bad results for us.

Anyways, thanks for sharing your experiences.
