Starting Out Different This Year

Hello friends, how are you doing?
We are still in the new year groove so I am wishing all the members and supporters of @ladiesofhive a happy new year. It's the first weekly prompt this year, and I hope you participate. Read more about topics to write about here

It's the start of a new year and I would say last year was a year of experiences and lessons. There were many things that happened that taught me a lot about myself and life and this year I won't let them repeat itself. I won't say for sure that it's my new year revolution but what I will start doing differently in this year.Other times I would take care of people's needs instead of mine but this year it will be all different.

This year I have promised to put myself first. This is not being selfish but taking care of myself. My mental health, my skin, my finances and academics.
I have decided to masturdate. Take my help out, buy new clothes and new stuff for myself. This doesn't mean I won't help those around me.

This year I also want to get closer to God. Involve him in all I do and always pray. I want to grow my spiritual life.
I would also want to connect more with people, especially people who are crypto inclined to learn more. It's a bull year and you need the right information to keep you going.
I don't mind losing friends who won't have any value to me or make me feel like we are a competition. I want to search, read more, research more and improve my vocabulary and knowledge.

I think it just comes naturally sometimes to put another before you, I also want to learn to put myself first.
