Important Lessons Learnt From Life

Hello friends, happy weekend. Glad joining the @hiveghana in their weekly prompt.

Everyday we learn either by our experience or the experience of others. These can be negative or positive but the most important thing is that a lesson has be learnt. I know I'm not too old but at least I am two decades and more, meaning I have experienced life as a child, teen, and currently a youth and a young lady.

Life has taught me not many things and here's some important ones I would love to share.

• Be Hardworking:

Everybody wants to be successful but it takes working hard and working smart to get there. Yeah! Sometimes you may be hardworking and not seeing results but one needs to be consistent and not give up.
A big lesson on consistency in life has taught me, it's hard to start but then when things get tougher on the way to reaching your goals you should keep going. There will definitely be ups and downs but keep in mind why you started.

• Be a good person:

No matter how the world sees it or how people treat good people. Being a good person is still the goal. Just because someone treats you badly doesn't mean everybody is bad and another person doesn't haven't to pay for the sin someone in the past has committed.
Help people around you, have a good name and a clean heart.

• Do what you love:

Life has taught me that we live only once and I should do what I love. My career, hobby should be what I love. I shouldn't live to Impress someone or live on the mercy of someone else. Have fun, live healthy and be happy. That's all that matters.

• Nobody stays forever

This is a painful truth but it has helped me. It is an important lesson life has taught me. People come and people go. You don't have to kill yourself if someone doesn't like you. Love is a beautiful thing when you find someone who genuinely loves you and you can't force someone to love you. Love yourself first.
