Whatever happens to you there seems to be a hidden lesson you have to learn if you try to discover. The problem we only look at the negative aspect things and never bother to know why it happens and also what it is trying to teach us at that point.

Let me tell you even Whales that tries to reward every content still have their favorites and friends that they keep upvoting their post whether it is of quality or not. The whales consider their friends first before thinking about the crowd, your quality content do not matter to them than their friends, that is why you see most users receiving big upvotes even they are not putting up quality content that much, it seems unfair but they have paid the price of connection and are now receiving the reward of friendship.

You cannot do it alone, don't ever think you can, you have to help others so they can also join hands to help you also, we all rise by lifting each other. Sometimes you can just set a day only for engagements and connection. If you can do this like 3 to 4 times a month you will be amazed at the result, who knows you might luckily be one of the Whales friend and can be added on their favorite list lol.
