Dianne's Seafood House
November 30 is a National Day but I don't make it as my rest day as I and my fellow members of Cebu Lions Club will conduct an operation in the city of Car-Car. We did Diabetes Awareness and Gift Giving. I am going to make another blog about what happened on that day. This time I will share with you my first ever experience eating at a restaurant in the city of Car-Car. We went to Diannes Seafood House. Thanks to our dearest Attorney who sponsored all the meals on this day.
I really love the ambiance from the outside because I got the feeling of living in the past. As you can see behind me how it is constructed. Another thing is, it is very refreshing for me because of its mint color and full of plants around it. Despite a hot sunny day, I was relaxed by looking at the view.
This was the first food served to us. It's called a green soup made of seaweed. Way back living in the other country when I went to a restaurant, soup has always been served first and later I realized it serves as an appetizer. I was very curious about this soup because it's my first try but it turned out well taste.
Chopseuy is a healthy dish because it is composed of vegetables. Its common ingredients are carrots, cabbage, beans, and string baby corns. It is good to add vegetables to our meals to make everything in balance. It reminds me how my partner prepared for me her specialty of chop suey, she added quail eggs, shrimps, and fish balls. To give a review about this food. I like it and the other vegetables are crispy to chew. It's fresh.
I tried Pompano fish but in a soup version. Just now I found out that we can steam it and place some sauce on top of it. It is nice because you don't need to use oil but steaming only.
This is another first time for me. I was used to eating the big crabs before but eating the small ones is new to me. I like the taste of it. It's made of garlic and butter with a little bit of sweetness and is spicy. This is really perfect for me and a two thumbs up!
I am not a fan of eating shrimps but I just grab the opportunity to take a photo to let you see how clean and juicy are they. You can dip it into different sauces according to your desire.
My partner had always prepared me water with lemon and she always insisted to add cucumber and I neglected it because I don't like cucumber but this time, I was able to drink this cucumber juice. At first, there is a hesitation but I am shy with my fellowmen so I tried and I am loving the taste. I don't know how did they make it but I was impressed because this can help especially like me who don't usually eat or drink (cucumber). This experience had taught me that I must try new things and learn from them
This is our group photo. We are enjoying together and loved the food from the restaurant. We have to eat a lot to gain more energy because there is more place that we are going to visit around Car-Car City. Thank you, everyone and I hope you can visit one day here! Dianne's Seafood House.

The food looks enticing but makes me wonder what is the taste of the green seaweed soup. Is there something that the taste can be associated with?
Kinda curious since they are not served here in the northern part of PH.
