SublimeSunday: Cooking Delicious Foods and Snacks

Greetings everyone, Its been a long time since I can't do any recipé post here in our community. Each of us has a favorite foods or dish we want to eat and it will give us more appetite. As for that, I will share my ideas about the recipés of my favorite dish and snacks here in our place. This is a simple dish but very delicious and some of the people cooked this for selling and business porpuses. There are some Ingredients we should gather if we cook Tininlag Recipé, we must gathered the following Ingredients:
  • Meat
  • Cooking oil
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Vinegar
  • Soy Sauce
  • Salt
  • Other Seasonings
  • Pepper
  • Pechay Vegetables

Preparations:

First, clean the meat with clean water.

Next, sliced the meat into cube shapes. Sliced it very small so that it will cook immediately.

Separate the pechay leaves from the stalks and sliced it into thinner pieces. The stalks of the pechay should be sliced too so that it will easily cook.

Marinated it using Soy Sauce and vinegar for 5 minutes.

Slice the onions, garlic, bell pepper into thin slices.

How to Cook?

  • Put a right amount of cooking oil in the frying pan and sauted the garlic, Onions and bell pepper. Sauted it until it turns into golden brown.

  • Next, add the slice marinated meat and cook it until the meat will become soft.

  • The left slice bell pepper will add next after the meat is nearly cook.

  • After adding the pechay vegetables, add the right amount of salt and other seasonings. Cook it for a few minutes.

This is only a simple dish but very delicious and this is one of my favorite food to eat. This is our finished dish.

For snacks, I also prepared Latik Snacks. One of the most popular pinoy snacks. Children were really love to eat and some of the people are making it as for business porpuses. For my next recipé, I would like to share to all of you how to cook Latik.

This kind of recipé is very simple and all we have to do is to gathered a few Ingredients;

  • Brown Sugar
  • Bananas
  • Coconut extract or coconut milk ( Gata )

Preparations:

Shraded coconut meat is very important, this will be use for extracting coconut milk added to the banana.

Pell the ripe bananas very carefully and put it in a giant cauldron.

After extracting the coconut milk and pelling the ripe banana, mix it all together including the brown sugar and stir it very carefully. Boiled it for 45 minutes until it will cook.

This is the finished perfect snacks. This is also good for business porpuses. Latik is very popular here and children will really love to eat because the taste is very sweet.

I love cooking pechay, but I just saute alon with ground pork.
This one is unfamiliar but yeah it looks delicious!.

Banana with coconut milk is good, my mother in law sometimes cooked for merienda. Yet, it's a no for me 😂.
That would make me run into the comfy rooms.

That's the advantage in residing at the country side. You can can snacks for free.
