My Hatchery Visiting Activities in Lugait Misamis Oriental

This is my second time to visit an old and abandoned Aqua Farm In Barangay Calangahan Lugait, Misamis Oriental. Back when I was 7 years old, We've been here together with my Family to go for a swim on the nearest coastal areas here in Aqua farm. As many years already passed, the place takes a lot of changes until it was complete closed and abandoned by the workers. This place is very quite although it is near at the National road, but we can really felt peaceful and Calm. As for my travel blog for today, I will share those places inside of the Aqua Farm and how related or connected this place during my childhood days.

San Jose Aqua Farm is near at the coastal areas that is why it can be easily to get more sea water going to the fish tanks so that the fish and shrimps can be abled to lived in the fish tanks. We should walk a few meters away before we arrived at the coastal areas. As I observed during my travel adventure, the waves are slightly big and rough and also very windy. It was low tide during my travel activities, and the stones started to shown out.

This is some of the parts of the concrete stairs here in Aqua Farm. I already passed this concrete stairs back when I was kid. The stair floorings contains a big cracks due to earthquakes and erosions happens here in this areas. It continues to separated from the ground and their are some different kinds of wild plants and grass grows at the middle of the cracks of the concreted stairs.

This are the big canals here in the abandoned aqua farm and back when this place still operational, there are lots of water flows down here and it came from the big fish tanks and to be drained with water. Every week, they drained the water to all fish tanks and the water will flows here down to the sea. The canals also flooring with concrete including each side of the canal so that it wont be destroyed easily. The water can flow freely down to the sea.

There is also some pieces of small boats putting here in the place. This can't be used because there are lots of holes on the small boats. The owner, decided to put the small boat near at the laboratory and abandoned for a very long time. They used small boats to go checking those pipes submerged in the sea water.

The first fish tanks I will share was this one. It is a kind of small fish tanks used for culturing small shrimps or phytoplanktons species. Small fishes is also put in here for incubation or culturing until they grow and ready to transfer on the big fish tanks.

This big and deep fish tanks was also abandoned and the big fish, shrimps and crabs will pit here inside of this big fish tanks. This place is very beautiful and fascinating back when this place was totally abandoned. The cracks are everywhere because of to much heat comes from the sun.

Because of the quite place only the tweeting of birds can be heard and seen. Example of the birds can be seen here are dove. Dove loves to eat in here and As I Hurriedly approached this bird, she always walked a little.

They also constructed this concrete wall so the the soil can't collapsed very easily. The soil will remain intact and cannot be eroded because of this concrete walls.

The place was also grown with a big trees just like Molave, Germilina and Karot tree. It keeps the please cool and the views are very fascinating.

This was once a laboratory inside of the hatchery. It is made of concrete including the rooftops, ceilings, walls and floors. This can be prevent in windy situations. That is why it is good to built concrete walls, ceilings. Traveling to a place just like this are very fun and enjoyable. Even if it is a quite and peaceful place, still we will be enjoyed very much. I hope this will be developed again.
