My Great Project: Installing Water Faucets And Buying Faucet Materials Using Some Of My Hive Funds

For me, this is a great project I have of my Life and our Dreams is now a reality. Today's blog is very special to me and I am really proud and happy that our dreams is already true. Our Local Government installed a water main pipe here in our place, and every residents can tap and connected in the main pipe so that we can have water also. They put a very long big water pipe near at the road and connected to other main pipes. The Local Government also gives small pipes or polythiline tube on each houses and thats the only they Gave.

When we heard about buying more materials for the faucets, this is a kind of problem for us. It costs much because of to expensive materials that need. My Parents don't have enough money yet to buy those materials but they really wanted to have water and faucets here in our house. For me, this kind of project given by our Local Government is a great opportunities to us here, through this we will not be fetched water from the distant water pump. We can easily use water specially for food cleaning, cooking, drinking and giving water for the animals and plants. Until, I decided to used some of my Hive Funds I sell last year.

At first, my Parents still don't know about my plan, but as my decision is final I talked my Parents about my decisions, to buy the materials for installing faucets. They are very happy to heard about and after that, we hurriedly went to MARWASA, this is the name of the office on which the authorized people who do the job stays. We asked about the materials tht should need and how much does it costs. They gave us a list about the materials and wow, to be surprised it costs almost 5,000 Pesos. But according to them, they advance the total expense in higher because they don't know the other price of the materials.

This is what we called tapelone tape used for the pipelines. This kind of tape is use and put at the end of the water pipeline before attaching or connecting the other piece of the pipe.

This G.I.T 1 ½ metal pipe used for channeling more pipes on one place. It can place 1 to 2 pipes in this thing attached together.

Metal elbow pipes, this kind of materials used for channeling water in a curvy lines and it can easily channeled the water.

This is what we called, Copling Tube in which it can be used to sealed those connected pipelines. It can turn it around so that the cut water pipelines releases.

This is Lock Wing, it is used to attached the water pressure meter and this metal is made of brass and put it near at the meter.

This is the water pressure meter, this will use to check the amount and pressure of water to be calculated so that they can see what will be the exact amount of water bills.

Our house is near at the river so this will be the big challenge to install water pipeline, my Father make a simple plan so that we can have still water even if we are at the other side of the place. First, We hang the pipeline in supported with this cable wire, it helps the pipe will not go lower due to the pressure of water. Next, we tied using a trap wire on the cable and nailed a plank at the Germilina tree so that there will be supported the weight of the pipeline. This is a simple and temporary plans so that we can have water.

Gate valve is very important in this kind of project that is why, we decided to brought gate valve. This will help to lock the flow of water everytime when there is a leakage happens in the pipes.

This is a great project I have and it helps to make the dream of my Parents came true.
