A Day in My Life Blog: Visiting Nanay Angela's House and Got Blessed of Her Life Story! 😇🤗🙏

I have been very blessed this past week for everything that I have done, and all this for the glory and honor of God. Just a few days ago, I met an old woman and talked with her about life, and I am very blessed by what she shared with me.

This would be what I am about to share here in the community in my A Day of my Life blog, which may inspire us in life.

Here in my place, we have a Micro-Cooperative exclusively within our Barangay and the whole Municipality of Manticao, in which we encourage everyone to be part of our Cooperative. I am one of the officers as Secretary, and so, whatever information and opportunities we have here offered in our Coop, I have all the records.

Just last week, we received a letter from the Province stating that they want to help the members of our Cooperative who belong to the poorest sector, and so we grabbed this opportunity for our members. What we did now is to evaluate all our members who will qualify, and I am tasked by our Chairman to visit some of the members. And here, I have met the old woman who shared some of her life story to me.

It was around 3:00 in the afternoon where I went to the house of our member which located somewhere in the mountainous part of our Barangay, and just thank God for I have a motorcycle to used and I can go immediately.

On my way to their house, I have pass here in a river which we can see this irrigation system from NIA or National Irrigation Authority. It's been a while since my last visit here and found this bridge here very nice to watch.

After a while, around 3:30 in the afternoon I have found the house of our member who's name is Angela. When I arrived in their house she was sleeping as she was not feeling well. She was alone has her husband was already dead for many years and her children are working.

At this time, I already went inside their house and started evaluating her if she will be eligible for the assistance and thank God for she was qualified but as per our records, she only have membership fee and doesn't have any share, and for her to be recognized as official member she needs to have a share but unfortunately, she said that, she doesn't have money.

Now, instead of going back immediately what I did is to talk on her more about life as I found out that she was alone and knowing that she doesn't feel good, she needs someone to take care for her but she ssid she can handle herself.

We continued talking and what really touched my heart is when I saw her hand, her left hand only have two fingers left and when I asked her what happened, she told me it was not in born but through accident.

Way back on her younger years of her life, she worked in a factory which was assigned to a packing area and so their is a cutter. She already have children at those time and so she also assigned to take good care of her children who's very young at those time.

One day, when she was working, she was very tired and very sleepy, and her mind was not on her work and unfortunately she doesn't notice her hand was on the cutter and her three fingers was into it but not totally cut-off. But the doctor decided to cut-off those three fingers for it will domage the remaining two fingers.

As I heard her story, I very blessed for she survived for her family especially for her children. I told her to always thank God even though those accident happened to her and always to trust God. Now, what we do next is I offer a prayer her especially for complete healing and provisions, and for her whole family.

Knowing that she doesn't have money for her to give a share on our Cooperative, I have decided to sponsor her as it was a big help for her of ever the assistance will be released in the future. Before I left also, I give her some money even if it is just a few but as I give her at first she was hesitant but I told her to accept for it can help her to buy even for coffee or anything.

She was very happy as I look into her eyes and so when I went home, she was smiling that gives me joy and happiness too and all that I do for God's Glory and honor alone.

On my way back home, I have a big smile in my face as I was very blessed to the life of Nany Angela, and praying that the assistance will be immediately released. Now, as I go back home again I am here in the bridge and it was indeed very nice to look at.
