My grand-grandparents fought against the Nazis in what was
Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia back then, pointlessly struggling for "most freedom". Two of them perished. Somehow, somewhere. Other two were executed. At least there's an uncesored report for that.

My grandparents and parents fought against the communist regime in Czechoslovakia. They suffered in unimaginable ways - as a spoiled child of democracy, I couldn't stand it for a day. I super-admire them.

I see your point - struggling to get revenue.

Freedom means no one should have to do anything.
your point was web3 should be censorship free.

I agree the infrastructure should strive for this, but front-ends should and do have the right to only show what they want.

Justin Sun supports the idea of front-ends having the right to only show what they want.

I did support the Hive fork back then though. We could have used the legacy chain to do whatever we wanted, letting Steemit Inc. hide it. Why did we fork?

The fork was because Justin seized control of the top 20 so the chain was no longer decentralized.
We still need to change how witness votes work or we will continue to suffer.

There have been some changes to prevent this from happening today, also there isn't a centralized entity with a lot of free stake so this would be much much harder now.

understood. Still would like to see a change that delegations fall off.
One account is getting hundreds of thousands of hive delegation from 2017 and is able to still use it.

If it works for witness votes it should apply to delegation as well.

Just my thoughts on the matter

I forgot about that one. I was thinking more of the money Acidyo makes off of Roadscape.

Just hoping it gets changed.
I think it could be an easy change to implement
