Kralus the Invincible
I keep saying Splinterlands is about finding the best synergy among your cards. It’s not single monsters that win you grand battles; it’s the way they can boost each other and perhaps exploit the weak spots in your opponent’s strategy. While the opponent’s strategy is obviously beyond your control, tuning your own to the ruleset is crucial. For the Holy Protection ruleset, it's advisable to have some monsters with Resurrect up your sleeve. Or even better, a resurrecting summoner, just in case the monster with this ability gets eliminated first. When you combine the resurrections with a Martyr and Kralus, you'll end up with an invincible killing machine on your side. See for yourselves in this battle of mine.
Chanseus the Great stands by his name – Resurrect, Repair, and Triage make an outstanding combination that can keep armies marching from one victory to another.
Venari Marksrat is occasionally deployed as a fake tank to buff the real one. However, it died thrice in my setup while blocking six attacks. That's better than many real tanks. And, just by the way, three martyr deaths buff the second monster significantly.
My second monster was not a real tank either – Kralus is more of a power monster than a tank. However, with Immunity, the flying tiger ignores any negative effects except debuffs. With its buffed speed stats and the Flying ability, melee and ranged monsters struggle to hit it. The only possible weakness is facing multiple magic strikers, but I had prepared for that too.
Then I opted for High Priest Darius, not for his moderate offensive potential though. The Resurrect ability was more important for me.
My Life Splinter strategies usually include a healer. Venari Crystalsmith took this role in this case, ensuring that Kralus would survive even if he faced a set of magic strikers.
Soul Fiend is a free monster that can block two attacks when buffed with Holy Protection. I only used it as a rear tank with no real hope for it to participate in the battle.
The Battle
To my surprise, my opponent relied on ranged monsters. To keep them alive throughout the first rounds, they used Night Ghoul, a tank with Taunt, which kept my strikers away from the cheap and low-HP ranged monsters buffed by Zyriel. Using Zyriel in combination with Chaos Agent and Shadowy Presence was a great move – you get 9 ranged attacks for only 9 mana points. The last two monsters, Arachne Thug and Grim Reaper are reasonable choices for this setup too.
However, it was my pack that worked better in terms of synergy. My unconventional tank blocked all the first-round attacks before leaving the first spot to an over-buffed Kralus. And then it was just a massacre – the opponent’s monsters did not even get through Kralus’ armor. True, my other cards were not so powerful in terms of attacking abilities, so it took time until Kralus tore apart the last monster. Nevertheless, the victory was a decisive one.

Remind me to use dispel next time I come up against you in battle.
I guess that with that Tank Heal and Repair, it would only prolong your suffering :P
Thanks :)

The Chanseus is a beast, if I'm correct that's the same of the summoner? With the Kralus combo, it becomes really had to win. Great win, missed almost all the attack, and having two attack type makes it so formidable
Kralus+Chanseus+Veneri Marksrat make an amazing combo ;)
