Greetings Everyone 😁 😁 😁
I'm back again for this week, week 21 was 🔥 🔥 and I am happy that I also participated even if though I wasn't mentioned but I'm happy that each week comes with it's own inspiration, thanks to @verbal-D for always encouraging me and others as well.😁😁, I'm grateful 🙏.
This week we were ask to sing songs that were sunged in the 70's and a typical example of songs that were sunged in the 70's were the hymns and today I'll be doing one of my favourite hymns, How sweet the name of Jesus sounds originally written by an Angelican Clergy *John Newton and it was published in Olney Hymns in 1779

** Inspiration**
This song reminds me of the loving kindness of God, not just that but Christ steadfast love towards humanity. His love is enough to draw a sinner to Him. As a believer each time the name of Christ is mentioned it sends sensation to my body. His name is indeed powerful.
It's enough to mend the broken heart, heal the weary soul and do other mighty things.
I just hope you will enjoy this piece by me, remain bless 🙏🙏.

        ****Song Lyrics***

How sweet the Name of Jesus sounds
In a believer’s ear!
It soothes his sorrow, heals his wounds,
And drives away his fear,
And drives away his fear,
And drives away his fear,
It soothes his sorrow, heals his wounds,
And drives away his fear.
2
It makes the wounded spirit whole,
And calms the troubled breast;
’Tis manna to the hungry soul,
And to the weary rest,
And to the weary rest,
And to the weary rest,
’Tis manna to the hungry soul,
And to the weary rest.
3
Dear Name! the Rock on which we build;
Our shield and hiding-place;
Our never-failing treasury, filled
With boundless stores of grace,
With boundless stores of grace,
With boundless stores of grace,
Our never-failing treasury, filled
With boundless stores of grace.
4
Jesus, our Savior, Shepherd, Friend,
Our Prophet, Priest, and King;
Our Lord, our Life, our Way, our End,
Accept the praise we bring,
Accept the praise we bring,
Accept the praise we bring,
Our Lord, our Life, our Way, our End,
Accept the praise we bring.

Thoroughly enjoyed your praise and worship with this beautiful gospel song. You sing really nicely and have a nice rich tone to your vocals that is so soulful and calming.
Try balancing the music with your vocals more. In this entry your vocals were a bit too loud and the music was quite faint in the background, so when you got louder and bolder with your singing, it produces unwanted distortion and feedback but overall this was another consistently quality entry from you. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks so much sir
Your constant check on my entries is an encouragement for me.
I learnt how to keep my camera well because you pointed it out for me and I had to implement it.

Well as for the vocals being louder than my background sound i'll try to work on it as well.

I'm grateful for your concern.

Thanks so much sir 🙏🙏
