I thought I was going to have the chance to love you all my life,
to protect you as I promised I would, but I didn't,
I didn't make it and I ask for your forgiveness.

I'm sorry, I got lost,
I forgot how it felt to wake up with you in the mornings,
how it was to see your eyes at dawn when the moon illuminated them,
as much as I try I can't remember how it was to see your hair tangled in my fingers when I caressed it, I'm sorry!

I don't think of you like I used to,
I forgot the feeling of your hands caressing my face,
was it warmth or just touch? you made my heart race? I don't know,
