Una Conexión especial: La Lactancia [ESP / ENG]
Mí niño tiene tres años, pero intensamente me dice, “a mi me gusta la tetita” y yo destete cuando el tenia un año, pero aún así para mi hijo hoy por hoy ama intensamente su "Titata" como le dice él. De verdad que en momentos he pensado que es muy loco pero al mismo tiempo es muy bonito.
My child is three years old, but he intensely tells me, "I like the teat" and I weaned him when he was one year old, but still for my son today he loves intensely his "Titata" as he calls it. I have really thought at times that it is very crazy but at the same time it is very nice.

Me hace ver que fue un proceso de conexión muy importante, que a pesar de lo difícil que suele ser el destete, lo realmente valioso es que logramos que fuera respetuoso y simplemente cuando se pone muy intenso le explicó que la tetita ya no está pero que siempre la va a querer y recordar con mucho cariño.

Para mi la lactancia es mucho más que alimento, recuerdo que la tia de mi esposo decía que para los niños la teta era su acetaminofén natural, cuando ellos estan en el malestar de sus primeros dientes o un resfriado, es decir como un alimento emocional y neurológico.

Me despido recordando a las mamitas que si amamantan a sus hijos más allá del año, no duden de ustedes, es bonito tener esa conexión y es difícil dejarla, solo recuerda que mientras das pecho estás regalando salud tanto emocional como física a tu pequeño.
