Hoy les comparto la reseña de uno de tantos libros que he tenido el placer de leer. En esta oportunidad es gracias al equipo de TINTA DRAGÓN – AUTOPUBLICACIÓN y al AUTOR DEL LIBRO - JOSÉ ERNESTO PARRA, pues sin ellos estaría perdiendo una valiosa oportunidad de lectura y de ofrecerles una reseña. Siempre desde una aspiración sincera de que más personas disfruten de la literatura, pues los libros nos brindan la posibilidad de vivir millones de vidas dentro de la única que tenemos. Vivir esas vidas es una manera de burlar a la limitación del tiempo, pues nacemos para morir, pero lo importante es lo que hacemos con ese suspiro de vida, con ese poco tiempo que tenemos para disfrutar estar vivos.

Today I share with you the review of one of the many books I have had the pleasure of reading. This time it is thanks to the team of TINTA DRAGÓN- SELF-PUBLICATION and to the AUTHOR OF THE BOOK - JOSÉ ERNESTO PARRA, because without them I would be missing a valuable opportunity to read and to offer you a review. Always from a sincere aspiration that more people enjoy literature, because books give us the possibility of living millions of lives within the only one we have. Living those lives is a way to mock the limitation of time, because we are born to die, but the important thing is what we do with that sigh of life, with that little time we have to enjoy being alive.

En la selva, un pequeño monito aullador (Alouatta) busca una manera de pertenecer a su manada sin dejar de ser quien es. Manú es incapaz de usar su voz para aullar ni comunicarse como los demás, en cambio debe recurrir a señas, expresiones y por último, a una vara de bambú que le permite hacerse escuchar mientras lo sopla. Entre los peligros y las dificultades de la selva, Manú también tendrá que enfrentarse a un deseo de inclusión que lo frustra y entristece en ocasiones. Debido a órdenes directas del líder de la manada, a Manú se le prohíbe relacionarse estrechamente con otros monitos. Entre ellos, está Kana, una pequeña mona a quien termina salvando un par de veces y que con el tiempo se vuelven casi inseparables. Pero encontrar una manera de pronunciarse sin poder usar su voz es difícil, en especial en una manada donde el aullido lo es casi todo. Manú encontrará la fuerza y la manera de usar su verdadera voz, pero los eventos que lo llevan a ello son sorprendentes y llenos de aventuras.
In the jungle, a little howler monkey (Alouatta) is looking for a way to belong to his herd while remaining who he is. Manu is unable to use his voice to howl or communicate like the others, instead he must resort to signs, expressions and finally, a bamboo stick that allows him to make himself heard while blowing it. Among the dangers and hardships of the jungle, Manu will also have to face a desire for inclusion that frustrates and saddens him at times. Due to direct orders from the leader of the herd, Manú is forbidden to interact closely with other monkeys. Among them is Kana, a little monkey whom he ends up saving a couple of times and eventually they become almost inseparable. But finding a way to speak to each other without being able to use their voices is difficult, especially in a herd where howling is almost everything. Manu will find the strength and the way to use his true voice, but the events that lead to it are surprising and full of adventures.
En la selva tropical de Venezuela, Manú el monito aullador disfruta del tiempo de sabiduría que le imparte Picuzti, un avetigre que guía de forma cariñosa al pequeño. Veloz, audaz y risueño, Manú hace cuanto puede por aprender, pero su incapacidad para aullar como los demás en su manada lo hacen sentir inseguro, en especial con las burlas que suele recibir. Sin embargo, con ayuda de su madre Espeletia, sus amigos y el apoyo de su padre intenta colaborar para el beneficio de la manada. Hasta que su felicidad se ve eclipsada debido a un enorme incendio, el cual arrasa con su hogar y con la vida su padre. Manú debe lidiar con la perdida y con la exclusión, está dispuesto a demostrar su valía y ser de utilidad para su manada. A pesar de ello, los humanos están cerca y cuando cree conseguir librarse de ellos, el líder de la manada lo desprecia y desconfía de él. Kana la monita, su madre Espeletia y sus amigos intentan apoyarlo, pero todo empeora. Por las tardes, se lleva a cabo la Fiesta de los Araguatos, una algarabía de la manada en donde disfrutan de la unión y la vida, pero Manú no es bien recibido. Frustrado y desanimado Manú se cuestiona su destino, pero no piensa dejar de ser fiel a si mismo para poder permanecer en donde desconfían de él.
Con el paso del tiempo, aun decidido y servicial, Manú se reúne con sus amigos y aquella monita que salvó hace mucho (Kana). Juntos crean su propia celebración tradicional, allí desde el exilio, desde el margen, desde la clandestinidad y con ayuda de una vara de bambú que le permite ser oído. Cuando el líder de la manada y padre de Kana descubre dichas reuniones (no permitidas para que se mezclen), decide enfrentarse a Manú. Debido a esto, toda la manada, a la que el pequeño aullador sirvió cordialmente como recolector, vigía, explorador y defensor, decide arremeter contra él siguiendo a su líder.
En la soledad, Manú descubre quién ha estado observándolo por su bien y quien lo ha estado acechando, para acabar con su vida y con su manada. En una batalla feroz y alarmante, Manú se enfrenta a un peligroso oponente, donde evita que Kana salga herida y donde al borde de lo que cree que será su muerte, una sorpresa le salva la vida, gracias a que logra liberar su verdadera voz tan única y peculiar. En la unión de una especie, los monos aulladores consiguen ahuyentar al enemigo y Manú más adelante descubre que el árbol que había sufrido el incendio, de nuevo está frondoso. Puede recordar a su padre y finalmente puede sentirse parte de la manada, con su madre, Kana y sus amigos a su lado, al participar activamente en LA FIESTA DE LOS ARAGUATOS.
In the rainforest of Venezuela, Manú the howler monkey enjoys the time of wisdom imparted to him by Picuzti, an avian who lovingly guides the little one. Fast, bold and giggly, Manú does his best to learn, but his inability to howl like the others in his herd makes him feel insecure, especially with the teasing he often receives. However, with the help of his mother Espeletia, his friends and the support of his father, he tries to collaborate for the benefit of the herd. Until his happiness is overshadowed by a huge fire, which destroys his home and his father's life. Manu must deal with the loss and exclusion, he is willing to prove his worth and be of service to his herd. Despite this, humans are close by and when he thinks he can get rid of them, the leader of the herd despises and distrusts him. Kana the little monkey, his mother Speletia and his friends try to support him, but everything gets worse. In the afternoons, the Araguatos Party is held, a herd celebration where the herd enjoys togetherness and life, but Manu is not well received. Frustrated and discouraged, Manú questions his destiny, but he does not intend to stop being faithful to himself in order to remain where he is distrusted.
As time goes by, still determined and helpful, Manu reunites with his friends and the little monkey he saved long ago (Kana). Together they create their own traditional celebration, there from exile, from the margins, from the underground and with the help of a bamboo stick that allows him to be heard. When the leader of the herd and Kana's father discovers such meetings (not allowed for them to mingle), he decides to confront Manú. Because of this, the entire herd, which the little howler served cordially as a gatherer, lookout, scout and defender, decides to lash out at him following their leader.
In solitude, Manu discovers who has been watching him for his sake and who has been stalking him, to end his life and his herd. In a fierce and alarming battle, Manu faces a dangerous opponent, where he prevents Kana from getting hurt and where on the verge of what he thinks will be his death, a surprise saves his life, thanks to the fact that he manages to release his true voice so unique and peculiar. In the union of a kind, the howler monkeys manage to chase away the enemy and Manu later discovers that the tree that had suffered the fire, is again lush. He can remember his father and can finally feel part of the herd, with his mother, kana and his friends by his side, as he actively participates in THE ARAGUATOS' PARTY.

Además de la reflexión importante de encontrar valor en nuestras diferencias, lo que nos impulsará en el crecimiento personal. Es una historia inspiradora, conmovedora y emocionante que mantiene al lector a la expectativa de que el pequeño mono pueda encontrar su verdadera voz y se sienta incluido en la manada que tanto quiere. Es una lectura ligera, con un lenguaje sencillo y lleno de imágenes inmersivas en la naturaleza. Recomendado para lectores de todas las edades y corazones sensibles.
It brings beautiful values such as friendship, solidarity, respect for nature, empathy, responsibility and acceptance of diversity. It is a light read, with simple language and full of immersive nature imagery. Recommended for readers of all ages and sensitive hearts.

En lo personal, sí recomiendo este libro. Muestra que el lidiar con una particularidad no debe ser impedimento para ser y hacer lo que se desea de verdad. Los temas de inclusión, superación y cuestionamientos genuinos con el paso del tiempo, le dan una perspectiva muy enriquecedora a la historia de Manú el protagonista. Las adversidades están presentes, pero la firmeza de una personalidad y carácter de quien no acepta sin remedio los obstáculos, demuestra ser la esencia de quien puede derribar muchas barreras. En este caso, Manú derribó la barrera del método de comunicación, logró mantenerse fiel a sí mismo y alcanzar la unión que deseaba. Aporta valores muy hermosos como la amistad, solidaridad, respeto por la naturaleza, empatía, responsabilidad y aceptación por la diversidad. Además de la reflexión importante de encontrar valor en nuestras diferencias, lo que nos impulsará en el crecimiento personal. Es una historia inspiradora, conmovedora y emocionante que mantiene al lector a la expectativa de que el pequeño mono pueda encontrar su verdadera voz y se sienta incluido en la manada que tanto quiere. Es una lectura ligera, con un lenguaje sencillo y lleno de imágenes inmersivas en la naturaleza. Recomendado para lectores de todas las edades y corazones sensibles.
Personally, I do recommend this book. It shows that dealing with a particularity should not be an impediment to be and do what you really want. The themes of inclusion, overcoming and genuine questioning with the passage of time, give a very enriching perspective to the story of Manú the protagonist. Adversities are present, but the firmness of a personality and character of one who does not hopelessly accept obstacles, proves to be the essence of one who can break down many barriers. In this case, Manú broke down the barrier of the method of communication, managed to stay true to himself and achieve the union he desired. He brings beautiful values such as friendship, solidarity, respect for nature, empathy, responsibility and acceptance of diversity. In addition to the important reflection of finding value in our differences, which will drive us in our personal growth. It is an inspiring, touching and exciting story that keeps the reader waiting for the little monkey to find his true voice and feel included in the herd he loves so much.
