Be Grateful

There is a saying "As long as there is life, there is hope" Although I have never really thought deeply about those words or considered them, but sitting today on my bed, thinking about my goals and plans for this month and the remaining three months remaining in the year 2024, I realized that indeed that saying isn't mere words, it has deep meaning and they are true.

I mean, nobody wishes to die at the peak of their journey but then, death happens and that ends the journey of those people but here I am still alive and thinking about my goals and plan that needs to be accomplished for the month and remaining three months in the year and I believe that is hope.

Regardless of the hurdles and challenges I am facing, I still have hope for a better tomorrow irrespective of how the NOW seems, and how it feels that those goals or plans aren't going to be accomplished because there are no signs but the fact that I am alive and I am seated thinking about the future is enough reason to be grateful to God.

It is not where we want it, we are not where we wished we would be, and we've not been able to accomplish our written down goals for the year, which has messed with our minds, I get it, I understand that feeling of unfulfillment, hurt, and sadness, that feeling of comparison and unhappiness but being alive till today not by our might or power is enough reason to be grateful.

Yes, we don't know what tomorrow holds for us, and yes, we can not be sure of those remaining three months, but we are sure of now, we are sure of the plans we have, and we are sure that if there is life, we would be able to meet those goals, and that is enough reason to be grateful.

I don't know about you, but I am grateful for the little things, grateful for the seen and unseen things, grateful for life, grateful for my family, grateful that I still can smile, dance, and sing amid my challenges, and grateful for now and the future even when I don't know what God has installed for me.
