Memories Of A Kid - Jetix
The best channel you could grow up on as a kid. Jetix
Yes, many will write about Cartoon Network and indeed it had by far the best children's shows in many areas, but the big problem was that it was not dubbed and was not that widespread in Greece.
Mostly older people will remember fox kids, which I didn't catch and was then rebranded as JETIX.
That is, he took all the already existing great children's like power rangers and umbra katabram and added so much more, with many of them still indelible in my heart.
Let's check out my favorites.
Galactic football
What can I say about this saga.
Even the most unrelated to football loved this series at that time.
We entered the field and tried to do the same and find "breath".
The best thing was that all 7 players had a characteristic and you could identify with them.
Oban star racers
Much loved and underrated anime (?)
Earth is invited to an alien spaceship racing with the prize being any wish it desires.
It was truly beautiful and kept you in suspense every match.
Dark oracle
One of my haziest memories, mostly because I remember it scaring me a lot as a kid.
Live action mixed with comic style animation about 2 twins who find a magical comic that supposedly reveals their future, but is actually being manipulated by their evil twins inside the comic.
I remember it quite dark and very special.
Yin! Yang! Yo!
2 bunny brothers train in a kung fu style martial art but with magic in it.
Yes, if I sit down to watch it now, it might seem crazy to me, but I can't describe how happy I was when I got it on jetix or star.
So simplistic but inventive in animation situations (SpongeBob type) always won me over.
Get Ed
Now on to the ultimate thrash which for some reason I loved.
I challenge you to look it up and find something worse that you've seen endlessly.
From what I remember it was about a group of couriers in a world with advanced technology and an evil trying to steal their packages and become that ruler.
Honorable mentions
W.I.T.C.H (which he ripped off after Winx)
Super robot monkey
Totally spies (Watch it on Netflix, Now!)
World of Quest
The great thing about Jetix was also that it had a lot of legendary and suitable anime to get the kid into this genre, like Shaman king (❤️), Digimon, Beyblade and of course Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh
Of course we are talking about subscription channels because we all know that star was king on the weekends and the child's ultimate joy was ERT after school on weekdays with Pepperan, Kim Strong, The Emperor Goes to School, Zeke and Luther, Zach and Cody (Debbie Ryan ❤️)
