Como todos sabemos, estamos en la temporada más esperada por los chicos; las ansiadas vacaciones, ja ja cualquiera piensa que se van de gira en un crucero y sería hasta bueno porque muchos son merecedores de unas merecidas vacaciones, pero lamentablemente la realidad de cada familia es diferente.
As we all know, we are in the most awaited season by the kids; the long awaited vacations, ha ha anyone thinks they are going on a cruise and it would even be good because many are deserving of a well-deserved vacation, but unfortunately the reality of each family is different.
Por mi parte, hemos pensado realizar paseos en diferentes lugares donde los chicos se sientan a gusto, pero a menudo sucede algo que cambia nuestros planes, por lo que todo se viene abajo, una de las causas es el clima tan cambiante que tenemos últimamente y, por otro lado, estoy yo; desde hace mucho no me enfermaba y la verdad es que no suelo ser enfermiza, pero hace más de una semana fui víctima de una situación sería que puso en riesgo la vida de mi familia y la mía, siendo yo la más afecta.
For my part, we have thought of going on trips to different places where the kids feel at ease, but often something happens that changes our plans, so everything falls apart, one of the causes is the weather so changeable that we have lately and, on the other hand, there is me; I have not been sick for a long time and the truth is that I am not usually sickly, but more than a week ago I was the victim of a situation that put my family's life and mine at risk, being the most affected.
Lo cierto del asunto es que mamá se ha enfermado y le ha tocado encamarse muy a su pesar, hace mucho tiempo que no pasaba tantos días metida en la cama a causa de una enfermedad, quería salir de ella, pero no podía por lo que pase de ser la guía a ser la guiada y justamente por mis hijos, quienes tuvieron que ponerle seriedad al asunto para apoyarme en todo, situación que no fue para nada fácil porque estoy acostumbrada a estar todo el día activa, haciendo por aquí y por allá.
The truth of the matter is that my mother has become ill and has had to go to bed very reluctantly, it has been a long time since I had spent so many days in bed because of an illness, I wanted to get out of it, but I could not, so I went from being the guide to being the guided one and precisely because of my children, who had to take the matter seriously to support me in everything, a situation that was not easy at all because I am used to be active all day long, doing here and there.
Vivir esta experiencia me ha demostrado que la labor de maternidad va por buen camino dado que mis hijos se portaron a la altura con atenciones y mucho afecto, lo cual me hizo sentir muy bien. En ocasiones he sentido que es poco lo que les enseño acerca de las labores del hogar porque no los quiero ocupar en otras actividades que no sean los estudios, aun cuando tanto Héctor como Cristian tienes desde hace algún tiempo asignadas labores para que apoyen a mantener nuestros espacios en buen estado y al mismo tiempo tengan responsabilidades.
Living this experience has shown me that the work of motherhood is on the right track since my children behaved at the height with attention and affection, which made me feel very good. Sometimes I have felt that I teach them little about housework because I do not want to occupy them in activities other than their studies, even though both Hector and Cristian have been assigned tasks for some time to help keep our spaces in good condition and at the same time have responsibilities.
En estos días pude darme cuenta de que mis hijos han crecido más de lo que me imaginaba y que saben más de lo que les he enseñado, eso es algo que me llena de orgullo porque sé que ambos ponen empeño por aprender de lo que a diario me ven realizar y lo más importante es que ellos saben que dichas labores pueden ser ejercidas por los dos sexos sin problemas algunos, porque para eso es la familia para colaborar en todo lo del hogar.
In these days I could realize that my children have grown more than I imagined and that they know more than what I have taught them, that is something that fills me with pride because I know that both put effort to learn from what they see me do every day and the most important thing is that they know that these tasks can be performed by both sexes without any problems, because that is what the family is for, to collaborate in everything at home.
Así, pues, que Héctor se encargó de elaborar la comida, recetas muy básicas, ya que tampoco les he dado la tarea de las recetas muy elaboradas, pero puedo decir que se defendió muy bien, le puso dedicación y esmero a lo que hizo y le salió con mucha sazón y estilo, lo cual me dejo sorprendida y muy a gusto.
So, Hector was in charge of preparing the food, very basic recipes, since I have not given them the task of elaborate recipes, but I can say that he did very well, he put dedication and care to what he did and it came out with a lot of seasoning and style, which left me surprised and very pleased.
En cuanto al orden del hogar, Cristian estuvo al frente de ello, haciendo la limpieza y mantenimiento de nuestros espacios, para mantenerme tranquila en cama. Lo mejor de todo fue que ambos pensaron en todo, hasta en tomarse fotos para que cuando me repusiera tuviese material para traer a hive y la verdad es que eso me encanto, no me lo esperaba, pero me agrado muchísimo.
As for the order of the home, Cristian was in charge of it, doing the cleaning and maintenance of our spaces, to keep me calm in bed. The best of all was that they both thought of everything, even taking pictures so that when I recovered I would have material to bring to hive and the truth is that I loved it, I did not expect it, but I liked it a lot.
Al final de todo, no fue tan malo estar en cama por unos días, estuve muy consentida por mis hijos, quienes a pesar de muchas situaciones me dieron una lección más, demostraron que son capaces de hacer mucho más de lo que yo pensaba, pusieron su madurez a prueba para enfrentar la situación y no solo me demostraron a mí que son capaces de encontrar soluciones también se lo demostraron a ellos mismos.
At the end of the day, it was not so bad to be in bed for a few days, I was very spoiled by my children, who despite many situations gave me another lesson, they showed that they are capable of doing much more than I thought, they put their maturity to the test to face the situation and not only showed me that they are capable of finding solutions, they also showed it to themselves.
La verdad es que me encanto verlos tan seguros de sí mismos, organizarse y poner en marcha un plan para salir adelante; todo ello me recargo las fuerzas y me ha dado más valor para continuar superándome porque al final de todo sé que soy su mejor ejemplo.
The truth is that I loved seeing them so sure of themselves, getting organized and putting a plan in place to move forward; all of this has recharged my strength and given me more courage to continue improving myself because at the end of the day I know that I am their best example.

Hola amiga, espero que estés mucho mejor, que bueno recibir esas atenciones en esos momentos difíciles y más cuando vienen de nuestros hijos que a veces los vemos tan chicos que pensamos que están siempre dependiendo de las cosas que hacemos y ocurren este tipo de situaciones que nos hacen ver que ya han crecido y pueden hacer cosas que incluso no le hemos enseñado pero que con el ejemplo han aprendido.

Estas haciendo un gran trabajo, y ni puedo imaginar tu satisfacción porque verlos cuidarte y hacerse cargo es para que toda mamá se llene de orgullo.
En casa los míos están en ese proceso. Tienen 13 y 10 años. Hembra y varón.
Ya cocinan cosas básicas, se encargan de los platos y una que otra vez ayudan con la limpieza.
Se que da cosa ponerlos, pero nosotras hacemos miles, así que si se puede jeje.
