Doctor, veo fuegos artificiales por todas partes / Doctor, I see fireworks all over the place

Un año más, han llegado las fiestas de la renovación, del dejar atrás el mal fario, de la celebración de la cosecha. La luz gana a las sombras y en Alicante lo celebramos con mucha pólvora. Kilos y kilos arden tanto durante el día, como la noche en las fiestas de las Hogueras de San Juan.
En el caso de los fuegos artificiales a la luz del día, a las dos de la tarde suena un primer cohete, seguido de un segundo toque y un tercero. Es el aviso de que comienza la "mascletá". Para muchos turistas es un acto incongruente ya que no entienden el sentido de unos fuegos artificiales a plena luz del día, pero cuando les explicamos lo del ritmo, la parte del "terremoto" que literalmente te hace temblar y una vez lo han experimentado, vuelven a por más (os dejo enlace al vídeo de la mascletá de ayer para que os hagáis una idea, aunque la falta de olor a pólvora hace que quede algo frío)
Me encanta la pólvora, como a muchísima gente que vive aquí, será por eso que veo fuegos artifiales por todas partes :)

I love gunpowder, as do many people who live here, so I see fireworks everywhere :)
