For some time now I have been looking for information about my thesis topic: The Religious Syncretism of the Virgin of Charity of Cobre in the Work of Leidy Laura Fernández Gallo. Works where WOMEN, through the Virgin, make their way towards a spiritual world, a world that tears apart with a pinpoint what lies beyond calm. Works similar to their artist who tries to examine his path from dreams as Remedios Vario did and others before them.

But this post is not to talk about my thesis, or even about me. I start from the works of different women to go towards women, current events, social networks. Holus... has been the Community and refuge for many. A place that offers becoming more and more like that "ideal self", one that seeks peace and learns to accept, accept itself.

Among my readings I discovered that different women's circles were developing in Mexico (you will say that this is nothing new, there are circles in all parts of the world in which they talk about different topics) for me it was something curious. Since these circles arise in the face of different problems, such as the absence of public spaces where women can meet. Well, as they well explain: culturally, the problems and situations that specifically concern women have been relegated to the domestic and private sphere.

This is how the need for communication arises. I share some of these groups with you and briefly leave a comment:

Remembering with Abuela Margarita One of the messages they share most strongly is the idea of ​​seeing each individual as a divine manifestation and cultivating the ability to recognize divinity in others. This seeks to transform social interactions, creating positive, effective and spiritual bonds, while promoting the respect that each person should have for themselves.

The power of the Thirteen Moons, of which I share a fragment of the workshop call: We will teach a workshop called “The Thirteen Moons”, which is based on the teachings of Jaime Sams, an heir to the Native American shamanic tradition and the practice of the Mayan-Toltec tradition. In this workshop we will begin to unlearn all those teachings and beliefs that have prevented us, until now, from achieving freedom of spirit and conscience, supported by meditations, reflection exercises, symbolic tools that nature itself gives us and, above all, the lunar cycles, and we will head down the path of self-knowledge towards a radical and forceful change. The workshop consists of 14 sessions, in which the 13 mother clans will work. In the first moon we begin by learning the truth that we are whole, and we discover how to harmonize our relationships. In the second we honor our truth, by respecting ourselves and others. In the third we accept that we are responsible for our life and our power of co-creation and so on until we reach a path of self-knowledge based on lunar cycles, which will allow us to connect with our environment and change that perspective. This workshop is not intended to indoctrinate and respects all religious, political, ideological beliefs, etc.

But what really caught my attention was the term called feminine awakening, part of spiritual growth, where women are considered a being of light, teacher, companion, medicine woman, a fundamental part of nature and an extension of Mother Earth.

And regarding healing, not only physical or emotional healing is considered, but also of the past, of humanity, of the earth and of relationships; even, in some cases, wounds that are believed to have been transmitted through different generations of women. Which is obtained through sharing experiences and learning with the women of the circle, supported by practices such as the living word, dances, temazcals, rituals, meditations and joint dynamics between women.

The most fascinating thing has been finding a balance between spiritual growth and the biological processes of the female body, especially when it comes to menstruation. The woman becomes aware of the various stages of her menstrual cycle, recognizing that each phase involves the manifestation of different types of energy. The idea of ​​conscious menstruation is promoted, where the process is perceived as a cycle of connection with both the earth and the universe. In this sense, menstrual bleeding is considered an offering, a means to release energy and one of the most effective ways to establish a deep connection with the earth and with oneself.
One of its members has a site called "Mi Periodo al Natural" where she shares information for Spanish speakers about research on the subject, promoting both physical and psychological health.

Esta publicación está introducida por estas maravillosas obras de una artista de @romanie. Desde que vi sus cuadros sentí que su esencia iban con los mensajes de transformación de la Comunidad, y a partir de este símbolo inicio:

Hace tiempo vengo buscando información sobre mi tema de tesis: El Sincretismo Religioso de la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre en la Obra de Leidy Laura Fernández Gallo. Obras donde la MUJER por medio de la Virgen hacen camino hacia un mundo espiritual, un mundo que razga a punta de alfiler lo que hay más allá de la calma. Obras semejantes a su artista que intenta examinar su camino a partir de los sueños como lo hizo Remedios Vario y otras antes que ellas.

Pero este post no es para hablar de mí tesis, ni siquiera de mí. Parto de las obras de diferentes mujeres para ir hacia la mujer, la actualidad, las redes sociales. Holus... ha sido la Comunidad y el refugio para muchas. Un lugar que brinda hacerse cada vez más a ese "yo ideal", uno que busca la paz y aprende aceptar, aceptarse.

Entre mis lecturas descubrí que en México se estaban desarrollando diferentes círculos de mujeres, (ustedes dirán que esto no es nada nuevo, existen círculos en todas partes del mundo en las cuáles se hablan sobre diferentes temas) para mí era algo curioso. Ya que dichos círculos surgen ante diferentes problemáticas como la ausencia de espacios públicos donde las mujeres puedan reunirse. Pues como bien explican: culturalmente los problemas y situaciones que conciernen específicamente a las mujeres han quedado relegadas al ámbito doméstico y privado.

Así surge la necesidad de comunicación. Algunos de estos grupos se los comparto y dejo brevemente un comentario:

Recordar con la Abuela Margarita Uno de los mensajes que comparten con más fuerza es la idea de ver a cada individuo como una manifestación divina y cultivar la habilidad de reconocer la divinidad en los demás. Esto busca transformar las interacciones sociales, creando vínculos positivos, efectivos y espirituales, al mismo tiempo que se promueve el respeto que cada persona debe tener hacia sí misma.

El poder de las Trece lunas, del cuál les comparto un fragmento se la convocatoria del taller:
Impartiremos un taller nombrado “Las Trece Lunas”, el cual está basado en las enseñanzas de Jaime Sams, una heredera de la tradición chamánica nativo-americana y en la práctica de la tradición Maya-Tolteca. En este taller comenzaremos a desaprender todas aquellas enseñanzas y creencias que nos han impedido, hasta este momento, alcanzar una libertad de espíritu y conciencia, apoyados en meditaciones, ejercicios de reflexión, herramientas simbólicas que nos da la propia naturaleza y, sobre todo, los ciclos lunares, y nos dirigiremos por el camino del autoconocimiento hacia un cambio radical y contundente. El taller consiste en 14 sesiones, en las que trabajaremos los 13 clanes madres. En la primera luna comenzamos por aprender la verdad de que somos un todo, y descubrimos como armonizar nuestras relaciones. En el segundo honramos nuestra verdad, al respetarnos a nosotros mismos y a los otros. En el tercero aceptamos que somos responsables de nuestra vida y nuestro poder de cocreación y así hasta llegar a un camino de auto-conocimiento basado en los ciclos lunares, que nos permitirá conectarnos con nuestro entorno y cambiar esa perspectiva. De una manera radical y práctica, conviértete en un cocreador consciente y comienza a fluir con las energías del universo. Este taller no pretende adoctrinar y respeta todas las creencias religiosas, políticas, ideológicas, etcétera.

Pero lo que realmente me llamó la atención fue el término llamado despertar femenino parte del crecimiento espiritual, donde la mujer es considerada un ser de luz, maestra, compañera, mujer medicina, parte fundamental de la naturaleza y una extensión de la Madre tierra.

Y respecto a la sanación, no se considera solo la sanación física o emocional, también del pasado, de la humanidad, de la tierra y de las relaciones; incluso, en algunos casos, de las heridas que se cree han sido transmitidas a través de las distintas generaciones de mujeres. Que se obtiene a través de compartir experiencias y aprendizajes con las mujeres del círculo, apoyadas con prácticas como la palabra viva, las danzas, los temazcales, los rituales, las meditaciones y las dinámicas conjuntas entre las mujeres.

Lo más fascinante ha sido encontrar un equilibrio entre el crecimiento espiritual y los procesos biológicos del cuerpo femenino, especialmente en lo que respecta a la menstruación. La mujer toma conciencia de las diversas etapas de su ciclo menstrual, reconociendo que cada fase conlleva la manifestación de diferentes tipos de energía. Se promueve la idea de una menstruación consciente, donde el proceso se percibe como un ciclo de conexión tanto con la tierra como con el universo. En este sentido, el sangrado menstrual se considera una ofrenda, un medio para liberar energía y una de las formas más efectivas de establecer una conexión profunda con la tierra y con uno mismo.
Una de sus miembros pose un sitio llamado "Mi Periodo al Natural" donde comparte información para habla hispana sobre las investigaciones respecto al tema, promoviendo tanto la salud física como la psicológica.

Aquí en #Cuba también existe un sitio desde el cual puedes participar "El Círculo de Eva". Espacio conducido por @maylink, donde fusiona el arte con el crecimiento personal/espiritual.
