Hello #hive friends I hope you are doing well today I am going to tell you how I have been doing in the internships of my degree in Bioanalysis.
El año pasado tenía que salir de pasantías pero aún me faltaba una materia por ver la cuál había riesgo de que no la dictarán porque no había el espacio adecuado.
Last year I had to leave for an internship, but I still had one more subject to see and there was a risk that they would not give it because there was not enough space.
Sólo esa materia me faltaba para salir de pasantías, así que la pudimos ver pero antes de terminarla ya habían hecho las inscripciones para un nuevo semestre y no pudimos inscribir las pasantías por estar viendo ésta asignatura.
Only that subject was missing for me to get out of internships, so we could see it but before finishing it, they had already made the registrations for a new semester and we could not register the internships because we were looking at this subject.
Yo estaba muy deprimida ya que los pasantes tuvieron su fiesta y el grupo que estábamos viendo la materia no sabíamos que iba a pasar con nosotros.
I was very depressed because the interns had their party and the group of us who were watching the course did not know what was going to happen to us.
Logramos culminar la materia la primera semana de diciembre y los nuevos pasantes no tenían mucho tiempo de haber comenzado, así que mi grupo y yo se nos ocurrió redactar una carta al departamento para que nos incluyeran en pasantías porque de no ser así íbamos a tener que quedarnos un semestre más.
We managed to finish the course the first week of December and the new interns had not had much time to start, so my group and I wrote a letter to the department to be included in internships because otherwise we were going to have to stay another semester.
Yo tenía muchas esperanzas aunque nos daban pocas posibilidades, lo que no quería era seguir más tiempo en la carrera, porque quiero graduarme.
I was very hopeful even though they gave us few possibilities, what I didn't want was to continue in the race any longer, because I want to graduate.
Antes del 24 de diciembre nos dieron la buena noticia de que nos incluirían en pasantías, mi grupo y yo estábamos muy felices.
Before December 24 we got the good news that we would be included in internships, my group and I were very happy.
Así que nos dieron la inducción para ver en cuáles laboratorios nos iban a mandar, el primer día fui con muchos nervios porque no sabía lo que me iba a encontrar o como me iban a tratar.
So they gave us the induction to see which labs they were going to send us to, the first day I went with a lot of nerves because I didn't know what I was going to find or how they were going to treat me.
Pero me fué increíble desde el primer día, las licenciadas me mostraron los espacios y me dijeron todo al respecto, me dijeron que si tenía alguna duda preguntará.
But it was amazing from the first day, the graduates showed me the spaces and told me everything about it, they told me if I had any questions I should ask.
Luego de terminar el trabajo las licenciadas se quisieron tomar unas fotos conmigo para el recuerdo y para con la decoración navideña que yo también ayude hacerla ése día.
After finishing the work the graduates wanted to take some pictures with me for the memory and with the Christmas decoration that I also helped to make that day.
De verdad ha sido una experiencia extraordinaria, sigo avanzando en mi carrera, esperando que en éste año 2022 lograr mi anhelado sueño de graduarme.
It has truly been an extraordinary experience, I continue to advance in my career, hoping that in this year 2022 I will achieve my dream of graduating.
