Hello friends, this is my first post in the Holos&Lotus community, I would like to congratulate you for managing to shape this positive initiative for the people of #Hive. Today I would like to share a fable with my own touch to make it more dynamic and current, in which at the end we can reflect and answer some questions.
Hola amigos, este es mi primer post en la comunidad de Holos&Lotus, quisiera felicitarlos por lograr conformar esta positiva iniciativa para las personas de #Hive. Hoy quisiera compartir una fábula con un toque propio para hacerla más dinámica y actual, en las que al final podamos reflexionar y contestar algunas preguntas.
In several sites on the internet it is known as the fable of "The King's Two Falcons" and in others as "The Falcon who did not fly". I particularly like the first one, but that is up to each one's taste, maybe it is not even the original title because it is a story by an anonymous author, but for the purposes of this post, I exaggerate it from the narration of Álex Rovira in his book "La buena vida" (Plataforma Editorial, 2019) . En varios sitios en internet se conoce como la fábula de “Los dos Halcones del Rey” y en otras “El Halcón que no volaba”. Particularmente me gusta la primera, pero eso queda al gusto de cada quién, quizás hasta no sea el título original porque es una historia de autor anónimo, pero para efectos de este post, lo extaje de la narración de Álex Rovira en su libro "La buena vida" (Plataforma Editorial, 2019) . One day, a king received two small falcons as a gift and gave them to the falconry master to train them for hunting.
Cierto día, un rey recibió dos pequeños halcones como regalo y los entregó al maestro de cetrería para que los entrenase para la caza.

After a few months, the master informed the king that one of the falcons did not move from the branch of the tree where it had been left, even though the other was already flying perfectly.
Pasados unos meses, el maestro informó al rey de que uno de los halcones no se movía de la rama del árbol en que lo habían dejado, a pesar de que el otro ya volaba perfectamente.

The king sent for healers, hunters, falconers and healers to observe the falcon, but none of them could make the bird fly, and after many attempts by the wise men and experts, it remained motionless on the branch.
El rey mandó llamar a sanadores, cazadores, cetreros y curanderos para que observasen al halcón, pero ninguno de ellos pudo hacer volar al ave, que, tras muchos intentos por parte de sabios y expertos, continuaba inmóvil en la rama.
Almost in despair, the king promised a reward to the person who could make the bird fly. The next morning he was surprised to see the two hawks flying through the gardens at high speed.
Casi desesperado, el rey prometió una recompensa a la persona que hiciera volar al ave. A la mañana siguiente vio con sorpresa a los dos halcones volando por los jardines velozmente.

The king ordered the person responsible for such a prodigy to be brought before him immediately and, astonished, found that it was none other than a peasant. The king asked him: - How did you manage to make my falcon fly?
El rey ordenó que llevasen ante él de inmediato al responsable de tal prodigio y, asombrado, comprobó que no era sino un campesino. El rey le preguntó: – ¿Cómo lograste hacer que mi halcón volase?

The peasant, somewhat intimidated, replied: - It was easy, my lord. I cut the tree branch, the falcon realized it had wings and flew.
El campesino, algo intimidado, respondió: – Fue fácil, mi señor. Corté la rama del árbol, el halcón se dio cuenta de que tenía alas y voló.

Moral
Whatever our situation, we have all been endowed with wings to fly, just like the falcons in the fable, only that sometimes there are branches that keep us in apparent security and we prefer to stay stranded, while others dare and trust in their abilities, take risks, learn and surpass themselves every day.
Moraleja
Sea cual sea nuestra situación, todos hemos sido dotados con alas para volar, al igual que los halcones de la fábula, sólo que a veces hay ramas que nos mantienen en una aparente seguridad y preferimos quedarnos varados, mientras que otros si se atreven y confían en sus capacidades, se arriesgan, aprenden y se superan cada día.
Many are like that second hawk, very comfortable and confident that someday from heaven they will get the answer they need, but for some life situation, they break the branch of routine, of comfort, of their experience and of what they have learned for years; and then they realize the value they have and that they can fly beyond their own limits.
Muchos son como ese segundo halcón, bien cómodos y confiados en que algún día del cielo obtendrán la respuesta que necesitan, pero por alguna situación de la vida, se parte la rama de la rutina, de la comodidad, de su experiencia y de lo que ha aprendido por años; y es entonces se dan cuenta del valor que tienen y que pueden volar hasta sobrepasar sus propios límites.
Although it may happen that, instead of flying, we suffer, without realizing that this is an opportunity that life has given us. It is not necessary to suffer, each one of us is the owner of our own life and destiny. We can fly far above those limitations we have placed in our heads! We can discover new capacities hidden inside us, which will lead us to feel new experiences, making us aware of knowing that we are alive!
Aunque puede darse el caso que, en lugar de volar suframos, sin darnos cuenta que se trata de una oportunidad que nos ha dado la vida. No es necesario sufrir, cada uno de nosotros es dueño de su vida y su destino. ¡Podemos volar muy por encima de esas limitantes que nos hemos puesto en nuestras cabezas! ¡Podemos descubrir nuevas capacidades escondidas en nuestro interior, que nos llevará a sentir nuevas experiencias, haciéndonos consientes de sabernos vivos!
To fly, you only need a project, a dream or a sky where you feel the force of the wind and know that you can dominate it, but not with a force contrary to that powerful nature, but with the aerodynamics of your capabilities. Never let life or a person cut your branch, stay alert and if it happens to you, do not lose heart, keep going, everything is a learning process.
Para volar, sólo necesitas un proyecto, un sueño o un cielo donde sientas la fuerza del viento y saber que puedes dominarlo, pero no con una fuerza contraria a esa poderosa naturaleza, sino con la aerodinámica de tus capacidades. Nunca dejes que la vida o una persona corten tu rama, mantente alerta y si te sucede, no desfallezcas, sigue adelante, todo es un aprendizaje.
Love life, be loyal to your dreams and work non-stop until you reach them. Live and fly, enjoy your results responsibly, and more than observing the landscapes you are crossing with that falcon vision, I tell you to enjoy the flight. Because frustrations, disappointments and losses leave us valuable lessons, we must learn to value them, because they will give us a more resistant plumage that will help our personal growth.
Ama la vida, se leal a tus sueños y trabaja sin parar hasta alcanzarlos. Vive y vuela, disfruta de tus resultados responsablemente, y más que observar los paisajes que vas surcando con esa visión de halcón, te digo que disfrutes el vuelo. Porque las frustraciones, desilusiones y pérdidas nos dejan valiosas lecciones, debemos aprender a valorarlas, porque nos darán un plumaje más resistente que ayudará a nuestro crecimiento personal.

Está es una fábula tal vez no muy compleja pero que dentro de si encierra una gran enseñanza y lo describes muy bien en tu moraleja. A veces falta ese alguien que nos corte esa rama para redescubrirnos. Gracias por compartir!
