My HL Banner Design; Celebrating HL 5k Members Milestone.
I don't know why it took me so long before coming up with a Hive Learner banner for the newly achieved 5k celebration. I wanted something simple and yet, I wasn't satisfied with the ideas coming to my head.
In the end, I concluded that what the Hive Learners community means to me is beyond what I can put into words or graphics and that's why I couldn't come up with something easily. The community reaching 5k members is a great achievement and this is just the beginning of HL's success judging by the impact the community have had on many members on the Hive blockchain.
At the time I found HL, I was struggling on the platform but things changed positively after I joined the community. These changes are what inspired my design for the banner and I believe you will agree that Hive Learner has impacted positively.
The three poles of the HL community are INTERACTION, LEARNING and GROWTH. I came up with this after looking deeply at the community structure.
HL is very keen on Interaction that happens through engagement off and on Hive. We interact from time to time and that helps us to learn a lot of things. The things we learn through interaction help us to grow and I am a testimony of all these things. Interacting with other authors help me to learn and I saw growth in every ramification on Hive.
Now to my banner
After putting what the community means together, I was able to finalize what my design should look like and it's simple as usual.
I started my design with the page size required for the banner and the first logo I inserted on it was the HL logo.
I imported the academic cap and scroll from Canva Element, I wasn't satisfied with the colour so I changed the colours to the ones present on the logo.
The next stage was adding text, I mentioned earlier what the three poles of Hive Learner were so I put them in my design.
I add those marks to the side of the text so they won't look boring and looks good.
I also added the connecting arrows
Choosing a background was difficult, I needed something light that wouldn't make the previous designs look blunt so I chose Canva multi-colour option.
The black text didn't work well so I changed them to.
That's not all
To add more spice to the banner, I made a graphical representation of the words -Interact, Learn and Grow.
The outcome of my design
I love the design for its simplicity and how it easily expresses my thoughts about the community. I will love to say a big shout-out to Lazy Panda, the Moderators, everyone behind the success of the community and the members, you are all amazing.
5k subscriber is just the beginning we are definitely going to achieve six figures some days, cheers everyone.
All image was designed me on Canva App and is free to use by the HL community.
Thanks.
Is this a new topic? I hope I'll have more available time to make one too..
It is a contest to celebrate the HL 5k member milestone.
It ends tonight...
The banner is looking simple and cool. I liked the design and I am also trying to participate in this contest. Today is the end day and I wasn't able to make a design in my mind. Let's see, can I make it or not? Best of luck for the contest.
It was kind of difficult for me to come up with some thing as well, I need something unique and it come at the last minute.
I am certain you can still meet up or have you post it?
Let me check your blog...
the deadline was delayed and now the new set time is the 8th of July and I decided to take a little more time to design it. I will publish it tomorrow.
Well done mate 👍
You very well express the main purpose of the hive learner precisely in 3 words interact, learn and grow. These points are connected to each other. The we interact or engage with others, the more we learn and grow on the platform.
I really love this three poles here..it says alot about HL
Unto Ur design, so beautiful 😍❤️
