Rejas / Bars

Saludos a todos los que disfrutan las imágenes en blanco y negro. El otro día vi algo en la televisión y lo primero que pensé fue en usar rejas como protagonistas para una sesión de fotos en este formato así que me dispuse a buscarlas a mi alrededor y dedicarles una publicación.

Greetings to all who enjoy black and white images. The other day I saw something on television and the first thing I thought about was to use bars as protagonists for a photo session in this format, so I set out to find them around me and dedicate a post to them.

Por lo general, las rejas son sinónimo de distancia, seguridad y control. Distancia, porque nos impiden acercarnos a ciertos lugares, seguridad, porque nos resguardan del peligro (ladrones o personas no autorizadas para entrar), y control, porque detrás de ellas terminan los que incurren en algún tipo de delito, aunque también hay millones que están tras las rejas sin haber cometido ningún crimen, los animales.

In general, bars are synonymous with distance, security and control. Distance, because they don´t let us approaching certain places, security, because they protect us from danger (thieves or people not authorized to enter), and control, because behind them end those who commit some kind of of crime, although there are also millions who are behind bars without having committed any crime, animals.

Las ciudades, los apartamentos y las casas se han llenado de rejas. Su patrón repetitivo, sus líneas paralelas y los colores sobrios que suelen tener hacen que las rejas siempre me hayan parecido un elemento silencioso y de cierta manera hasta triste o melancólico así que creo que este formato en blanco y negro es perfecto para ellas.

The cities, the aprtments and the houses have been filled with bars. Their repetitive pattern, their parallel lines and the sober colors that they usually have mean that the bars have always seemed to me a silent element and in a certain way even sad or melancholic, so I think that this black and white format is perfect for them.
