Fotografiando algunas aves sin un lente de zoom / Photographing some birds without a zoom lens

Saludos hivers. Cada vez que veo la variedad de aves que hay en mi ciudad me doy cuenta de que tengo que comprar un lente de zoom para mi celular 😕 jajaja. Hay muchas escenas interesantes de estos seres voladores que pudiese capturar con mi cámara y uno de estos lentes porque, como ya sabemos todos a los que nos gusta fotografiar a la naturaleza, tomarle fotos a las aves no es nada fácil, primero porque no suelen acercarse a las personas y segundo porque son muy asustadizas, así que para lograr una foto decente sin tener un lente de zoom, se necesitan dos cosas, buen ojo y no moverse jajaja pero, cuando tienes un lente de zoom puedes hacer tomas increíbles incluso estando lejos de ellas.

Greetings hivers. Every time I see the variety of birds in my city I realize that I need to buy a zoom lens for my cell phone 😕 hahaha. There are many interesting scenes of these flying beings that I could capture with my camera and one of these lenses because, as all of us who like to photograph nature already know, taking photos of birds isn't easy, firstly because they don't usually get close to people and second because they are very scary, so to get a decent photo without having a zoom lens, you need two things, a good eye and not moving hahaha but, when you have a zoom lens you can take incredible shots even when you are far away of them.

El hecho de no tener un equipo apropiado para hacer mejores tomas no me impide intentar fotografiar a las aves jajaja así que quiero compartir algunas fotos que he podido hacerles con mi celular en diferentes lugares.

The fact of not having appropriate equipment to take better shots doesn't stop me from trying to photograph the birds hahaha so I want to share some photos that I have been able to take of them with my cell phone in different places.

Las Tortolitas o Palomitas Chocolateras (Columbina talpacolti), son muy comunes y están en todas partes de la ciudad y también son de las que más se acercan cuando acostumbras a alimentarlas / The Ruddy Ground-dove (Columbina talpacolti) are very common and are everywhere in the city and they are also the ones that come closest when you feed them

También hay muchas palomas / There are a lot of doves, too

Iba caminando por el estacionamiento de un centro comercial cuando miré hacia arriba y ví a esta tortolita mexicana (Columbina Inca) y le tomé esta foto que me encanta como quedó 😍 / I was walking through the parking lot of a mall when I looked up and saw this Mexican dove (Columbina Inca) and I took this photo, I loved how it came out 😍

Este es un azulejo montañero (Sporathraupis cyanocephala), lo fotografié en la cima del Waraira Repano o Parque Nacional El Ávila y debo decir que es muy confianzudo y no tiene miedo de acercarse a las personas, están acostumbrados y cuando ven gente vienen a pedir comida 🤦🏻‍♀️ jajaja, ahí estaba comiendo un pedazo de manzana que alguien le dió / This is a mountain bluebird (Sporathraupis cyanocephala), I photographed it at the top of Waraira Repano or El Ávila National Park and I must say that it's very trusting and is not afraid to approach people, they are used to it and when they see people they come to ask for food 🤦🏻‍♀️ hahaha, there he was eating a piece of apple that someone gave him

Venezuela es un país tropical así que los loros no pueden faltar en nuestros cielos, en las mañanas se les escucha sentarse a conversar entre ellos o volar haciendo sus característicos gritos escandalosos 🤭🤭🤪, son muy hermosos, este amiguito me miraba con cautela mientras yo intentaba hacerle unas fotos con una luz no muy favorecedora 😕🤷🏻‍♀️ / Venezuela is a tropical country so parrots cannot be missing in our skies, in the mornings you can hear them sit and talk to each other or fly around making their characteristic scandalous cries 🤭🤭🤪, they are very beautiful, this little friend looked at me cautiously while I was trying to take some photos with a not very flattering light 😕🤷🏻‍♀️

Es muy difícil acercarse a los canarios de tejado (Sicalis flaveola) o arroceros como les decimos aquí, esa vez tuve suerte 💛 / It's very difficult to get close to the roof canaries (Sicalis flaveola) or rice canaries as we call them here, that time I was lucky 💛

Otra paloma que me encontré, esta estaba descansando en la terraza de mi edificio / Another dove that I found, this one was resting on the terrace of my building

En mi ciudad tenemos la fortuna de compartir con una gran variedad de aves, desde aves pequeñas como canarios de tejado, petirrojos, azulejos, periquitos australianos y chochines, a otras medianas como tortolitas, palomas, halcones y loros hasta aves mucho más grandes como búhos, guacamayas, zamuros y garzas. Ojalá pronto tenga mi lente de zoom para poder hacer mejores fotos de todas estas hermosas especies de aves.

In my city we are fortunate to share with a wide variety of birds, from small birds such as roof canaries, robins, bluebirds and Australian parakeets, to other medium-sized ones such as doves, hawks and parrots to much larger birds such as owls, macaws, vultures and herons. Hopefully soon I will have my zoom lens so I can take better photos of all these beautiful species of birds.
